What Happened to the Simon Says Stamp Team?

If you are wondering what has happened to the Simon Team, we are OK!

The snow emergency in the midwest made our trip home from CHA in California very Long and harrowing. After flying through FOUR 4 airports, and a FULL Day of travelling layovers and stops (no sleep), we finally made it back to Columbus Ohio. Needless to say, it was an exhausting journey and we are so happy to be back!

The lemonaide out of our lemons....we were stuck in Las Vegas for 7 hours! That was just enough time to make a quick ride to the strip and see some of Vegas! 2 of our gals had never been there and we were anxious to get home to our families, but at the same time, thrilled to see Sin City! The new hotel, ENCORE, was really dynamic, romantic and beautiful! It is a sister property of the Wynn. The lights along the strip are breathtaking! We will post pics as soon as we get our luggage and cameras straightened out. Another Lemonade is that one of our gals, Hallie, has a grandmother and aunt who live in Las Vegas and she hasn't seen either of them in over year, sooo.....Hallie's grandmother and Aunt met up with us for a quick visit. They were all so very happy to be together!

Home sweet home! We will be working all through the weekend to try to catch up on emails, phone calls, shipping, and any other time sensitive issues. Thanks for bearing with us!

Look at Tim's new stamp sets! We saw them in person today! Which is your favorite? We hope to have these in stock any day now for you! He actually stamped Hallie a tag using the butterfly stamp from Fairytale Frenzy and the spew stamp from urban tapestry. He autographed it for her and gave it to our girl Hallie! We were so thrilled. Tim is a genuine, nice, kind, and BRILLIANT GENIUS. Thanks Tim!

There is so Much To Post, WHERE TO BEGIN! CHA California!

We learned SO MUCH and met our heros!

Personal one on one talks with Tim Holtz................ Wait until you see his new stamps AND his new alcohol ink "marker". He used alcohol ink to color gems and his metal embellishments.

We met Heidi Swapp and actually TALKED TO HER! For quite some time, she showed us her new embossed paper, ....hard to explain, white on white emboss resist (look for photos later, it is our favorite new product from the show so far!)..... She told us about living in Beijing, her family, her inspirations......

Melissa Frances! Look at these bras in the background! We met Melissa herself. Did you know that she is a breast cancer survivor?

Lisa Spangler! HECK YEAH! Designer with Hero Arts. We talked shop...hello! LOVE HER! We had to know who designed the new FOUR DOLLS clear stamp set 2009 by Hero Arts, and of course .... it was HER! She said her inspiration was a trip she took to Tokyo recently.

Suze Weinberg was a melt art demonstration and gave Amber a necklace!

Go green! Prima taught a great class and we reused a lot of their packaging to make gifts, notebooks ....we'll post a pic once we get a good pic in lighting!

PARIS HILTON was here today! We saw her in the flesh. She is super ooooober skinny, smiled like for a million hours straigh, had great hair and flawless face! Amber liked her bright pink shoes!

On the Airplane to CHA Anaheim!

Hi All! Most of the gals from Simon will be in Anaheim this weekend and early next week for the annual worldwide Craft And Hobby Association Tradeshow! We may be a bit slow to answer emails as we will be off looking at products, meeting with vendors, and learning new techniques. We only do this once a year, so please forgive us if we're not as fast as usual. Our very pregnant Team member, Terra and also Carla will be holding down the fort in Ohio.

We'll try to keep in touch with photos and messages!
