Here is Amber at the Glimmer mist Tattered Angels booth at the show. They have brand new supersized clear stamps - a first in the industry! Also, we are so thrilled to announce that there will be Marshmallow white glimmer mist available as a new release! It looks spooktacular against black and dark cardstocks for Halloween!

Stamper's Anonymous / Inky Antics / Art Gone Wild & Friends is all one company and features great artists like Darcie, Wendy Vecchi, and so many other great folks! They also feature Tim Holtz. Since we carry every item that Tim Holtz uses or has his name on, it was our first stop of the show! I must say, Tim's new line of stamps (we have been showing them the last few weeks) are his most highly anticipated collection ever. Stamper's Anonymous has really outdone themselves! Their sample boards showcase the best, freshest and most innovative products and artists in the industry! Stamper's Anonymous is a leader of the industry! We will post blog links and more artist information when we return from the show.

Terra and I met with the owner of Stamper's Anonymous, Ted, before we even looked at anything else in the show. It proved to be our most impressive stop of the day. I wonder what today will bring!?

We hope to bring you many more projects and videos and artist information! I have my video camera and will upload some of our video during downtime and when we return.

It's one of the biggest trade shows of the industry and we are here meeting with our vendors and scouring the halls to bring you the freshest, brightest, and newest products in the world!

This years theme seems to be quality over quantity. Participation is down over previous years, simply due to the rough economy. Travel, hotel, and booth space is hard to fit into the budget these days. However, the brands that were able to attend the show have done an exceptional job offering us all new high quality and genius tools, products, and inspirational project ideas!

CHA Show in Florida, Craft & Hobby Association

Howdy ladies and gents ;) Several of our Simon team members are heading off to CHA Show in Florida. Florida here we come!

We promise to bring you treats all along the way! Watch our blog for updates and photos. It is our goal to bring you the best, brightest, highest quality, and freshest most exciting products in the world and the World Trade show in Orlando Florida should be jam packed with goodies!

There are lots of people to meet and see at the show. I can't wait to meet Lori from Splitcoaststampers! Terra is anxious to see Tim Holtz, and Amber, well if you know Amber - she is a bundle of happy energy and everywhere we go she is meeting lots of new people! There are so many people to see we are excited and filled with "the night before Christmas" energy!

The One And Only Heidi Swapp!!

Heidi Swapp is a creative genius when it comes to scrapbooking! She has been an inspiration to many of us, teaching us new ways to spice up our scrapbook pages and cards. Her style is young, girly and is simply a breath of fresh air. She continues to bring us new innovative products and demonstrates fun teqniques to try, always leaving us wanting more. It is no wonder she has become such a popular name in the scrapbooking industry.

I was browsing on SplitCoast Stampers, a popular scrapbooking website I am sure most of you are familiar with, and found some fabulous cards that I had to share with you all!! I was blown away with the creativity I saw and I couldn't wait to post the cards for all of you to see.

I wanted to blog about one of my favorite stamps, the Heidi Swapp clear Chandelier. The card above was one of the first I found and was designed by Julie Ranae. She used VersaMagic and Ranger Archival Jet Black ink to stamp the images and finished by using accessories from Martha Stewart and paper by Bazzill. This card is simply stunning! It caught my eye right away and I'm so glad that she is allowing us to share it with all of you. :)

The second card was designed by Susan. Susan says "I used black craft ink and clear embossing powder to give the chandelier a shiny effect. Added some liquid pearls for the candle lights and then some bling." She was going for a simple yet elegant card and I think she definitely achieved it!!

The last card shown above was designed by Rachel Hope. HEEELLLO CREATIVITY! I love how she turned the elegant chandelier into a spooky Halloween card!! How cute are the little spiders hanging from the light?!

Tim Holtz is Crazy for Stickles - New Ranger Products Sneak Peek!

The newest line from Ranger will be released next week at the CHA show in Florida. Tim Holtz has given us a sneak peek of the products he is introducing through Ranger at the show. Get ready for more STICKLES!!!!

First of all, Tim is bringing us 12 New Distress Stickles to round out the Distress palette. Remember, Distress Stickles aren't your typical glitter glue - they are more of a mica looking glitter that is excellent for a vintage, nostalgic look. The colors are noted in the picture above. We have all of Tim Holtz current stickles colors in stock now. CLICK HERE to view them.

AND....MORE STICKLES! Just in time for the holidays, Tim is releasing his Metallic Distress Stickles (Tarnished Brass, Brushed Pewter, and Antique Bronze) and a Picket Fence Stickles - great for snow!

The other new release is Rock Candy Stickles. This one is different because is is completely clear! It will reflect whatever color you put it on! Sound very cool, I can't wait to try it.

In addition to the Rock Candy Stickles, Tim is releasing a Rock Candy Crackle Paint! Here is an example of the finish it leaves on this tag that Tim Holtz made...
