4th of July BBQ Invitation

Hi all! Kristina here. :)

One of the best part of summer are the BBQs! And nothing says summer like a 4th of July BBQ. So for today's card I decided to create a small BBQ invitation.

I used two 6x6 pads for the different red and blue patterns: Simple Stories Summer Fresh and BasicGrey PB&J. Both have great red and blue patterns. I also created an envelope using the Tim Holtz Pocket Die. :)

BTW, the size of the envelope is 3" x 4". The card inside is 2.75" x 3.75".

For the text area on the invitation, I first created it on my computer and then printed it out. Are you looking for BBQ invitation text? You can download a PDF of mine HERE. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

  4. A cute, fun, quick project. We will likely borrow this idea for our thank yous since our invitations went out yesterday. Thanks for sharing, Kristina -- great project, as always.

  5. This is great! I did not know that there is die for envelope! But sadly, I am using Cuttlebug and I guess the Tim Holtz Pocket Die cannot be used in Cuttlebug. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

  8. I am going to be saying something similar to what you already have received as a response. These invitation cards are beautiful, creative and they are definitely keepers. You’ll hold on to them for a while, or even end up keeping them for good.
