Gnome for the Holidays Card

Happy Tuesday, all! Kristina here with a card for you today using supplies from the Festive Holiday Card Kit. (Sorry, no video today--I'll be back on Thursday with a video).

This card started with the little Gnome stamp from Gnome For the Holidays. I stamped him in Memento ink and the colored his face, ears, and legs with Copic markers. After cutting him out, it was time to dress him! :)

To give him different colored clothing, I stamped the gnome stamp multiple times on different pieces of patterned paper and cut out the individual pieces of his outfit (hat, mittens, shoes, etc). I "dressed him" by adhering the clothing to the originally colored image.

To make his eyes stand out a bit, I carefully applied a bit of white enamel accents and the tiniest amount of black enamel accents.

As for the card base, I stamped the diagonal stripe stamp and date stamp in Red Royal Shadow Ink. I embossed the sentiment stamp on a strip of green patterned paper, punched the ends with a postage stamp edge punch, and attached sliver glitter brads.

To finish off the card, I adhered the gnome and placed a glittery red dot on the top of his hat. :)
