Penguin Inspiration From Lori Manicho, Design Team Member for Simon!

Greetings!

After I took my son, Jaxon, to the Columbus zoo, my dad asked what was Jax's favorite exhibit. Since Jaxon at 11 months old couldn't answer for himself, I told my dad a definitive: PENGUINS. Jax and I visited the penguin exhibit several times. Each time, he would laugh and smile at the hobbling, wobbling, penguins. It was the kind of refreshingly happy and innocent smile that I love in my life. The kind of giggly laugh that I dream of in happy dreams. OK, the penguins were hysterically happy and cute, I admit it, but I so love the feelings of joy associated with watching them with my son.

I enjoy seeing the bling in Lori's work. She adds whimsical embellishments and reminds me that penguins are great for any time of year! What do you like about Lori's penguin cards?

This stamp set made for Simon Says Stamp by our Designer, Sara D, was actually inspired several months ago by our President of Sales, Terra. Terra is a big fan of penguins. In reality, every time I find something penguin"y", I get it for Terra. She is a happy person with a wonderful smile and memorable laugh. The set is so named "Terra's Penguins Have Style". AND THEY DO! We will feature Terra in a coming blog entry! I hope these stamps make you smile and cheerful. Wouldn't you love to make some cards with these stylish penguins to send a smile someone's way?!
