Does anybody get tired of seeing the wonderful Tim Holtz demonstrate his techniques? I don't think anybody does!
Today we are talking about Tim Holtz's line of Distress Inks from Ranger. They have so many uses and come in 24 awesome colors. All 24 colors of ink pads and ink pad refills are available in the store. Click here to see all of Tim Holtz's line! Also available are matching embossing powders and crackle paints! The creative possiblities are endless! Watch this great **VIDEO** showcasing the many uses of Distress Inks and you will be amazed!
Tim Holtz Distress Inks are...
• Acid free
• Non-toxic
• Fade Resistant
• New Higher Felt
• Raised 2" x 2" Pads
• Water-based Dye Inks (because they react with water, you can do all those cool Tim Holtz effects!)
Here's another fabulous tip from Wendy Vecchi at Ranger. You can make your own glimmer mist using Distress Inks! In a Mini Mister, add one dropper full of the Distress Ink Refill color of your choice (or experiment with a few). Add some of the Ranger Perfect Pearls powder. Then top it off with water (all the way to the "R" on the mini mister bottle). Now you have your own specially created glimmer mist! This works with Distress Inks because they react with water, not repel water!
**Blog Candy Alert** Comment on this blog about the video above or your favorite use of Tim Holtz Distress Inks and you will be entered to win a lot of 4 Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads! The random drawing will be done Monday night! GOOD LUCK!

It is so nice to see a video of the techniques. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with you about not getting tired of watching Tim & his techniques. I am in technique heaven watching him work. Watching the video made me actually want to work on something, but my youngest child needs to finish her book report project, and as her Mom I need to supervise her, or for some reason it just doesn't get done. But if anyone needs to know, I highly recommend that craft mat, it comes in so handy when crafting. I love that paint or ink just comes right off it. Ok, now I must get back to supervising. Crafting sounds much better. Thanks for the video link.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all things Tim, but the distress inks would have to be a favourtie. I have been going ot classes recently that tead Tim's techniwues and the inks are just divine! Thanks for the link - saved it to my faves for future reference!
