from Finnabair:
How it was made?
I’ve started with preparing the backround: few stitches on my old sewing machine, distressing the edges and putting some Distress Black Soot ink. The next step was masking – I’ve used a barb wire borderline mask from Tim Holtz’s set and inked the background with a black Distress ink to make the pattern visable. I placed the photo and sprayed all the layout with two colours of Glimmer Mist: Patina anad Black.

I’ve stamped the paper and the photo with a permanent Staz On Jet Black ink tusing a Prima “Brick WALL” stamp to make the layout look similar to a brick wall. The next step was making paper flowers - stamped on a piece of misted paper and then cut off and stuck to the layout (Art Declassified Kewl stamp), putting a ruler Maya Rpad stamp into 3 places and a Tim Holtz’s background stamp.

The final touch was adding a Basic Grey cage stamp in the up-right corner to balance the composition, putting a date and some metal elements – a tag, sprocket gears from an old alarm clock, and other old metal objects. To meke it a bit softer – I used some lace up and down the composition. All the titles are rub-ons and stamps. That’s it!
Hope you’ll try to make your own version of urban – grunge layout:)
