Tim Holtz has introduced another amazing technique that displays how Perfect Pearls and Distress Inks make a "Perfect" pair!
The two work well together because Perfect Pearls are pigment powders with a built in binder that will stick to anything that is wet - and Distress Inks stay wet a little longer than other inks in order to do techniques such as this, or even embossing!
The video is HERE and is called "Perfect Distress". The effect is just amazing. It makes a stamped image pearlized or shiny on top and the ink underneath moves around it to form a stunning outline of the image. I am sure you guys will have as much fun playing with this technique as I did.
The "Journey awakens the Soul" tag shown here has White Perfect Pearls on top of Black Soot Distress Ink. It is a little hard to see in this picture, but you can see it better in the video.
We have all of the Perfect Pearls Kits and accessories, plus anything Tim Holtz you can imagine in our store. **BLOG CANDY ALERT** Be sure to comment on your ideas for this technique. We will draw a random number at the end of the week and that person will win ONE of the Perfect Pearls Kits! Your choice of Pastels, Metallics, Interference, Aged Patina, Jewels, or Naturals! The kits come with a small Perfect Medium Pad and two sized of brushes!
Enjoy! ~TERRA

I love that technique!!! It´s so easy to choose the colour you want to have and then add perfect pearls for that shimmer! Don´t need thousands of different bottles. I would use it with masks and screens to make my own backgrounds.
