As many of you know it is the World Cardmaking Day today and the girls at Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog have a very special challenge that will last for 24 hours only. We are dedicating this challenge to Paige a 13 year old girl who was badly injured in an accident recently. We are asking you to make GIRLY CARD and send it to Paige. If you have already sent one we ask you to send it to a child on the Post Pals or a sick child.
Erin of Scrap, Stamp and Be Merry has been an inspiration!! she has had the most fabulous response to her appeal for Cards For Paige and we would like to help her in this appeal :-) She has also agreed to help us by joining us in the Designer Spotlight ;-) Thanks Erin :-)

A little over a month ago, my neighbor, 13yo Paige Welch, was seriously injured in a boating accident while on vacation. She was flown back to Boston, where the doctors worked to save her arm, which had been severed. They needed to amputate from the elbow down. Since then Paige has been through multiple successful operations which will make the process of fitting a prosthetic a lot easier.
Paige is currently recuperating at her grandmother's near the hospital and hopes to return home to NH real soon. She is one of the bravest teenagers I know. Her mother says she looks forward to mail everyday and has received cards from all over the world!

So without further ado ,, Erin and the DT have made some cards for your inspiration,,, You may combine your card with other challenges but remember you only have until 9 am CET ( 8am GMT). Heidi of Simon Says Stamp Store will be giving the winner of the prize draw a fantastic parcel full of cardmaking goodies :-)It must be a new card, not one previously posted to be entered into the prize draw. We trust you to actually post the card too !!!!!:-)
A mai nap a kártyakészítés világnapja, vagyis a Card Making Day! Ez alkalomból egy egynapos kihívással várunk benneteket. Ezt a kihívást Paige-nek szenteljük. Ő egy 13 éves kislány, aki nemrég komoly balesetet szenvedett. Ha esetleg már küldtél neki kártyát, akkor szeretnénk megkérni, hogy küld el egy másik beteg gyermeknek az elkészült alkotásodat. Vendégtervezőnk a kihívásra Erin. A kihívás holnap délelőtt 8 óráig tart. A nyeremény, Heidi felajánlásával, egy kártyakészítéshez szükséges termékekből álló csomag. Régi alkotásokkal nem lehet nevezni, csakis új kártyákkal! Jó alkotást és sok szerencsét kívánok!:)
