Spotlight on Design Team Featuring Lorraine!

Many of you probably already know our Design Team Leader, Lorraine. She is very active in blogland and participates in a huge variety of challenges. Not even a year ago, Lorraine and I chatted about starting our own Challenge Blog for Simon Says Stamp. She has a lot of "get up and go" as my dad calls it! Each time we had an idea, she took it a step further. She is proactive and gets things done! As a former midwife, she has that comfortable air around her - do you know what I mean? The kind where you feel like you can ask her or chat about anything. Fiesty too, Lorraine defends Simon and our talented group til the end! Not only is she like a big sister to me, I think she is like a big sister to MANY!

Her children, Sean and Amy, are very lucky to have her. Her hubby Ray lives with her in Malta with many furry friends.

It has been great fun to see Lorraine's stamping style evolve. She is always in the know about what is hot and is good about putting fire under my bottom to carry hot brands in our store. Her design above features Mo Manning's Jack & Ginger stamp. Lorraine also does some amazing work with House Mouse stamps (among many others). I'd like to feature some of her House Mouse work now:

Happy Hoppers FANCY PANTS Stamp

House Mouse GENTLE RAIN Rubber Stamp

House Mouse SNOW MUCH FUN Rubber Stamp

House Mouse CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES Rubber Stamp

House Mouse PLAYING DRESS UP Rubber Stamp

House Mouse CURIOUS MUZZY Rubber Stamp

Thank you for joining us in our Designer Spotlight!! I hope you'll take a moment to visit Lols' blog! Not only is it chocked full of pretty eye candy, she is also funny, witty, and enjoyable to read! Did you know that we are looking for two more talented designers to add to our team? Please visit our Challenge blog HERE for more information!

I'm battling a touch of the flu, but thank goodness it came this weekend instead of next! Next weekend me and 3 of our Simon gals will be flying off to Anaheim for the Craft and Hobby Association world tradeshow. It wouldn't be any fun to be sick on an airplane (especially for those around me!!)

Thanks for taking time out of your day to visit our lil' blog and enjoy some of the designers' works!! Don't forget that these ladies do it for the love of it and your comments mean the world to them!

Happy Saturday!
Heidi

I love her cards you have chosen to showcase and it was seeing Lorraine using HM stamps that prompted me to buy some from SSS last year thanks for all you guys do. Hugs Pascalex
