Hey Chickie Chickie!

Ring in the coming Spring weather with these sweet and colorful cards made by Sally Traidman for Hero Arts! The focal points of each card are from Hero Arts' JUST RELEASED Easter line!

Needed Hero Arts Supplies:

Pale Pink Gemstones
Chatting Chicks
Poppy Folded Cards
Snow Layering Papers
Printer's Type Lowercase Alphabets

How To Make:

1.) Stamp chicken stamp three times.
2.) Color and cut out the bodies from one image, and the wings from another.
3.) Paper piece the chickens onto the third stamped image using dimensional adhesive, and add sentiment below using alphabet stamps.
4.) To create the mat, sponge pink ink on white card stock and attach stamped chicken piece on top. Attach to card.
5.) Embellish with gems and embroidery floss to finish the card!

How To Make:

1.) Stamp bird image on white paper. Color with markers and cut out, cutting off the legs. Stamp bird image a second time, coloring and cutting out only the wings.
2.) Use letter stamps to spell out your message, adding color to highlight the word "spring". Stamp message on white paper cut into a rectangle.
3.) Create a purple scallop border using decorative edge scissors and mount under the stamped white rectangle. Attach to yellow card base.
4.) Stamp bird image once more directly on card. This is easier than trying to paper piece the tiny legs.
5.) Paper piece the colored bird image onto the card, on top of the image you stamped in the previous step. Place flower into bird's wing and attach second set of wings.
6.) Finish card with gems and embroidery floss "feathers"!
