Today we are talking about the creative vision behind Tim Holtz's Decorative Strips and Texture Fades.
The Tim Holtz Alterations Decorative Strips are a little different than his other Sizzix dies. These are chemically etched, so you get more die for your money. The only mediums you can cut with them are cardstock and paper. Check out my favorite, the Ticket Strip - Tim specifically designed this die to coordinate with his Stampers Anonymous Line of Stamps - Admit One, Movie Ticket, Love Ticket, Circus Ticket, and Transport Ticket!
The Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades are embossing folders for the "distressed"! These embossing folders give a deep impression and the design fades in and out in some places to give your art an aged look. These are "not cookie cutter embossing folders" as Tim says in his video. The Texture Fades are the most highly anticipated product in the whole Tim Holtz Alterations Line. They are available in the beginning of May, but we are taking PREORDERS now. Get yours first before they are all gone!
Here is Tim's Video showing the creative vision behind these two lines of fabulous products. This video is courtesy of his BLOG (HERE). If you haven't been to his blog, please check it out. His blog is full of inspiration, techniques, and so much more! I promise you will always learn something! Enjoy!
