Papers that Pop!!

I may have mentioned this before, but part of my job is to restock around the warehouse. This is something that I enjoy doing because it makes me feel productive and then I know when picking items for orders that if it's not on the shelf, we are most likely out of it. While restocking this week, I came across Green Woodland, a pack of paper by DCWV that I completely appreciate because it is made from 70% recycled paper!!! WOOO! Not gonna lie, I am a huge fan of the environment and anything I can do to help keep it clean makes me feel happy :D (see?). Anywho, this paper - it's really cute. It comes in 4.5 x 6.5 and 8 x 8 and it has various woodland characters - for example a skunk and these cute, but funny-looking beavers . In addition to the pages that are character-based, there are pages with patterns. I like the tree pattern and the mushrooms, especially. Fun fact: the mushroom paper could double as a gumdrop print!

Sweet Stack
Now that I think about it, we also have 4.5 x 6.5 and 8 x 8 cardstock stacks of DCWV paper in a line called Sweet Stack. It is probably something that my sisters and I would have fought over when we were younger (and maybe still now). Think very girly. Some of the pages have glitter accents, which is a lovely added touch - my personal favorite: the cupcake pattern page. Each cupcake is iced with glitter. They are truly beauteous. I also like the pastel plaid page.
Should you be feeling slightly more rock star-ish, I suggest the Rock Star cardstock stack. Why is it awesome? I'd like to cite the papers with the green background and the golden skulls. Was that anticlimactic? Wait for it...the skulls aren't simply gold, they are metallic gold! The awesomeness doesn't stop there, though -as the description on our website says, "this versatile collection ranges from rock and roll to couture - and contains foiled and flocked papers!" If that doesn't convince you of its greatness, I'm not sure what will. Maybe the colors?

Either way, DCWV has a wonderful collection of cardstock stacks, cards and envelopes, and chipboard shapes!!

Well ladies, gentlemen, and hoodlums, I am off to enjoy my weekend. Currently, it is thundering and lightning outside, but the rain hasn't come yet (knock on wood!)...the radio promises hail though, so I'm hoping to avoid it on the highway! Please have an awesome weekend!!!

Sincerely,
Sarah
