Happy Day After the 4th!

Crystal Star Trinket Pins
Hello friends! I hope you all had a fantastic 4th of July Holiday! Just in the event that you took a bunch of great photos from your celebration day, here are some great products that will compliment an Independence Day theme! These Crystal Star Trinket Pins are great for accenting cards or scrapbooks (and they'd also work for Christmas or any other theme where stars work!).

This stamp cracks me up - a monkey with fireworks?! How absurd, but very cute. In my town, there is a free fireworks show at a park, which happens to be 2 blocks from my house! We always watch the fireworks from the end of our driveway or walk up to the park to observe!

Wouldn't those fireworks look nice with some stickles? I think so! And guess what...we have red, white, and blue Ice Stickles for all of your glittery needs! I like the Blueberry, Cherry, and Crystal colors, but there are a bunch to choose from! Stickles are great because they are so easy to work with - the tip is thin so that you can really work on detailing! I recently used Stickles for some Christmas cards (I know it's early...) and they turned out pretty nice, if I do say so myself : )

As some of you may know from my previous entries, I'm a huge fan of punches - they're such a nice, easy way to embellish a card or paper project. I'm sure by know, you all know the Martha Stewart brand - she has everything from sheets to craft supplies so naturally, she has a punch that's be great for the 4th of July! Star Confetti has a variety of star shapes that could work for any occasion under the stars! (aren't I clever and corny?...hahah)

Patriotic
Anywhooo...want to make something to help commemorate this year's 4th of July holiday? How about some Patriotic stamps? What gets more patriotic that a stamp set actually called Patriotic that even has one that says "Proud to be an American"? These are great because they are clear so when you stamp, you can see where you are stamping! I love clear stamps because they take out some of the guess work and give you the accurate image you want, where you want it! This set would be superb with the Ice Stickles above. You can make your own flag, make a star background, or make glittery fireworks (if you have the stickles, of course).

To top everything off, why not use some brads? Bo Bunny has some brads that fit the 4th of July theme called Block Party. I like that they have different shapes and sizes so that you have options! It's a little hard to tell by the picture, but the smallest sized brads are glittery! Woooo!

Well, dear people, I hope you had a fantastic Independence Day!

Huzzah for freedom!
