Gift Giving

This week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge is Give a Gift themed, which thrills me! I love giving gifts. Our Design Team members have been busy creating as usual and we have some lovely examples for this week! Please join us in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - rules and how to enter are written in the left sidebar of the Challenge blog. If you win the challenge, Simon Says Stamp will gift you a $25 voucher to our store!! The above pictured brads are both by Doodlebug. On the left: Sweet Surprises, on the right: Gift Wrapped.

Gifted by Christine!
Christine used a ticket from the Adage Tickets book by Tim Holtz. I really like what she did with the keyhole, too - if you do, try Tim Holtz's Altered Art Metal Keyholes

Gifted by Lols!
Lols used something very similar to our black hemp twine by American Tag. I love that her flower is dotted. For this effect, you could stamp any paper flower with Mini Dots, a wood-mounted rubber stamp by Tim Holtz.

Gifted by Jackie!
Jackie used the Ballerina Tilda stamp from Magnolia. I love the single pink rose on the handle, too! If you must have a rose like this, try Orchid Fairytale Roses from Prima.

Chris's card is so cool! I love how it opens. If you like the key she used on the front of her card, then you need Keys by K&C Company - there are a whole bunch to choose from! I like the pretty green ribbon she used too. We have some in a similar color in the Sherbet pack by Stampin Up.

Gifted by Domi!
Domi's card is so cute!! She used a stamp called Noble Tilda by Magnolia. Domi's coloring looks great but I personally have a hard time blending/shading while coloring - Copic markers make it a lot easier though.

Heather's card and box have some brown foliage that looks great! If you like it, try May Arts cut out leaf ribbon in Rust!

Gifted by Jo!
Jo used some parts from Sprocket Gears, a Tim Holtz hardware set. I like the script "family" too. If you think this is a must-have, try Pretoria by 7 Gypsies.

Jane's cupcake gift looks good enough to eat! The cream colored part by the cherry might be made using Prima's E Line flowers in Chelsea White.

Gifted by Marcea!
Marcea's candle blows my mind! She used the Lady Tilda Stamp for one of the images. As for the rest of it, you'll have to ask her! : )

Gifted by Debby!
Debby's card uses really sweet mouse images from Whiff of Joy. To be exact, she used Beach Henry with Cocktail (the one of the left) and Lazy Summer Henry (the one on the right).

And that concludes this week's examples for the gift-themed Simon Says Stamp Challenge! Special thanks to our Design Team members for their hard work! I always look forward to what they have invented - each week tops the previous! And another note: if vintage is more your thing, check out the New Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge!! Thanks for tuning in : )
