Got the End of Summer Blues?

Welcome to the Tour de Design Team cards for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge! Our fantastic Design Team spends time each week to help inspire you to create! Each week one lucky entrant wins a $25 voucher to our store. This week's theme is "How to Beat the End of Summer Blues" and each card must have something blue! Check out below for what the Design Team made!

Made by Lols!
Lols used a Happy Hoppers stamp called Bunny Cruise. Isn't it cute? Interested in the "relax" sentiment? It's one of our very own original stamps called Relax Vacation! Feel free to check out other Simon Says Stamp Exclusive stamps!

Jane used some gorgeous flowers, didn't she? If you want something similar, check out Prima's Mini Roses - particularly the Cement Gray ones!

Jo used a Gruffies stamp called Wheelbarrow Ride. I'm not sure if you've ever ridden in a wheelbarrow, but it sure if a great way to beat the Summer Blues!! :) Like the ticket she used and must have something similar? Try Ticketed from Autumn Leaves - it's a great collection of ticket stamps for many occasions.

It looks like Domi used a corner punch here, but if you want an effect like this without the punch, try Heidi Swapp's Photo Corners. I personally like the Retro ones. Like the flowers? We just received a bunch of new Prima flowers!! One kind is called Medicci Tosca and they look sort of similar to these.

Debby used some dots in her background - I looove textures, don't you? Take a look at Tiny Textures by Tim Holtz. One set with four different textures - score! She also used a House Mouse stamp called Olive a Party!

Chris used a stamp called Tin Can Shower by...you guessed it!...House Mouse. Like that color of flower and need some large green flowers? Try Bright Green Glittered Daisies by Petaloo.

Martine has a gorgeous butterfly on her card up in the top left corner. Looks a lot like a Punch Around the Page Martha Stewart punch called Monarch Butterfly. Te recomiendo!

Marcea used a stamp by Gruffies called Hammock Hibernation. Ah...I could go for some hammock hibernation! What a relaxing way to beat end-of-Summer blues!

Heather used some gorgeous shimmery paper, didn't she? I love paper like this because it's a simple way to get an terrific look. I'm almost positive that she used WorldWin Cardstock called Spring Larch - if not she sure found one that is similar!

Christine used one of my favorite stamps. It's called Dress by Stampabilities. She also used some pretty pearl embellishments. For a close cousin of what she used, try Latte self adhesive pearls by Kaiser.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, concludes our tour of the Design Team's examples for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge!! Care to enter one of your designs for a chance to win a $25 voucher? Go to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog and check out the light green side panel on the left for rules and instructions on how to enter your creation!

Create and be merry!
