As you all know, the year of 2010 is coming to a close. Tomorrow, we will embark on the year 2011! Can you believe we've really been in the 2000's for a decade?! I can't...time flies!
To help start off the new year, Stephanie and I have compiled a list of 10 Essential Items for the year 2011! These items are great quality and will help you expand your crafty side! : D
#1: Fiskars Paper Trimmer
Despite the fact that not everyone at Simon Says Stamp hangs out in the warehouse all day, everyone definitely knows where the Fiskars Paper Trimmer is. Why? It's super popular because it works so well! You'll never have to worry about your edges not being straight again!
#2: Tim Holtz Paper Distresser
If you paid attention during the 12 Tags of Christmas, you may have noticed that this is one of Tim Holtz's favorite products. It's easy to used and it gives great results!
#3: Copic Markers
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Copic Markers are the best! Why? They make blending easy. No more coloring lines. We've even made it easy and compiled Blending Kits for different colors!
#4: New Cuttlebug Machine
It's a new and improved design for your embossing needs! You can even craft at a friend's house and carry this with you, thanks to that neat little handle. It folds up nicely for compact storage, too!
#5: Craft Scrubbie by Ranger
Feeling Inky? Grab a Craft Scrubbie and clean up!! It's seriously like magic. I don't know how they do it! (Hint: keep an eye out for Blog Candy on this blog!)
#6: Adhesives Extreme Value Pack by American Crafts
It's got lots of different glue dot sizes and runners for your adhesive needs. They're in pretty colors too, don't ya think?
#7: The Glitter Clean Up Cloth by Martha Stewart
I remember a janitor in elementary school complaining about teachers letting us use glitter. He said, "they use glitter in one room and it ends up in every room in the school and never goes away! I leave with glitter on me too!" Martha's brilliant in coming up with this - it'll clean up the glitter so it won't end up all over!
#8: Stitch Sew Quick Sewing Machine
I know I feel somewhat jealous whenever I see cards that are stitched - they're just so put together and stitching adds a fun texture to help grab the eye!!
# 9: Mounting Foam
Add this to your unmounted stamps to help you stamp! Don't have unmounted stamps? Use it as a stamping surface to make sure to get a great image every time!
#10: Adventure Glimmer Mist Kit
The distressing technique is not going to go away anytime soon. Neither will glitter. Add color to your creations using the Adventure Glimmer Mist Kit! It comes with 4 mists that will not only give you an intro if you're unfamiliar, but they're smaller sized bottles so you can sample different colors!
***Dear Customers & Readers: We want to know what YOUR essential items are! If you tell us and join our following, we'll even give you a chance to win BLOG CANDY! For every 20 answers we receive, we'll give out 1 Craft Scrubbie by Ranger!***
