Winter isn't over yet and there's plenty of Faux Snow to go around! Here in Ohio it snows through February and sometimes even March! Anywho, Faux Snow by Art Institute is a great embellishment because it really does look like snow. Don't need snow, but have a Santa or something with fur or a beard? Add this for a realistic look!Art Institute has glitter in a multitude of sizes so that you will be set for any project. I like these Dazzlers because they are chunky flakes and have a nice gleam. Bubblegum and Lollipop would be gorgeous to embellish your Valentine's Day cards too!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful x-mas tree! I love covering chipboard with glitter!
ReplyDeleteI've been using lots of glitter this season to cover chipboard pieces for my decorations. Love a little bling!
ReplyDeleteMy fave ways to use glitter right now are using Stickles (I have lots of colours! But you can never have too many, right?!) to add precision sparkle detailing. Also I've been adding quick glitter stripes with different widths of double-sided tape, and applying fine glitter direct to the sticky stripe! So easy and big wow factor!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway chance, Ruth S
I love using glitter on flowers and I use a lot of stickles. Also love Martha Stewart glitter.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE this glitter! I just got a new snowflake stamp set this would look amazing on! That and I have a house full of girls that love glitter!
ReplyDeleteOh I just loves glitter of any kind, and I use it a lot on almost all kinds of projects. Any card get just te little sparkle, when you add some glitter to it, and on trees and fences to lok like snow and on flowers it just looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteAsk my granddaughter, and she would say that no card was done, until it´s been added at least a ½ bottle of glitter on it ha ha ha ha, so we use lots of it ha ha ha.
Love that Christmas tree. I have been using a lot of glitter this season. I just made the glitter Christmas tree ornaments and I have been using glitter on my cards for chipboard. Love all the bling.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteI use glitter to frame and decorate dps and stamped images. Sometimes I even decorate embellishments such as paper flowers and snowflakes with it.

I use glitter to cover chipboard pieces, to put on just the edges of flowers & other embellishments, I've stuck it onto that supper tape stuff, & I've used it be be the snow on cards. Of course I've always used stickles to put ornaments on stamped or die cut trees.
ReplyDeleteGlitter is so perfect for Christmas trees!
ReplyDeleteI use glitter whenever I can, I love it. It glams anything up!
I use only glitter glue and that only in Christmas cards for snow. I don't like glitter or bling-bling, it just isn't my style.
ReplyDeleteSeems I use a lot of glitter lately. Just a touch here or there adds a lot. This year, I glittered birds and wreaths on cards, used it for snow (of course) and edged some paper ornaments. You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much glitter!
ReplyDeleteI don't use glitter alot but I love it on "party pages"
ReplyDeletethanks for the chance to win
