As for the Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge - this week the theme is Masking. Below, the Design Team is Stamping & Showing you their Masking!
Dan used Winged Things II, Creative Textures, and Spills & Splatters - all Cling Stamp sets by Tim Holtz. (If you have cling stamps and want to mount them to an acrylic block, try Thin EZ Mount Foam or Thick EZ Mount Foam - for a tutorial on how to use, go to our blog). For the coloring, Dan used Broken China, Walnut Stain, and Barn Door. He also used Memo Pins, Glossy Accents, and the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.
Nancy W used the Concerto Mask by Tim Holtz. She also used Butterscotch Color Wash and Vintage Photo Reinker by Tim Holtz, Wheatfields by Tattered Angels, Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls by Ranger, and a mini mister (need a Mini Mister Organizer?) Nice picture, by the way Nancy! : )
Lynne used Symphony Tissue Tape, Film Strip Ribbon, the Negative Rubber Stamp, Tiny Attacher (refills anyone?), a Texture Hammer, Barn Door Ink, Pine Needles Ink, and Black Soot Ink by Tim Holtz. She also used Grid Masks by Prima. I LOVE this page, Lynne - so many eye-catching parts!
Nancy C used some Symphony Tape (by Tim Holtz). She also used Spun Sugar Ink, Platinum Stickles, the Seasonal Mask, a tag, Mini Roses (like Chocolate Mocha by Prima), and White Flowers like those by Magnolia.
Lori used some gorgeous bright colors on Wendy Vecchi Stamps: Nature's Art, Botanical Art, and Make Mine Mini Art. Like that red border? It was made using Marketplace Tissue Tape and red ink like Blazing Red. She also used the Tag & Bookplates die and the following Paint Dabbers: Sunset Orange, Purple Twilight, and Red Pepper. Want to invest in a Vagabond?
Terry's tag was made using Just Fly by Wendy Vecchi, Le Romantique by Graphic 45, and the following Tim Holtz Products: Dried Marigold Ink Pad, Peeled Paint Ink Pad, Vintage Photo Ink Pad, Rusty Hinge Ink Pad, and the UM Fairy Garden Set.
Linda C used the Fleur de Lis Die by Spellbinders, a Mini Mister, Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls, the Mini Florets Mask, Green Buttons like the ones by Autumn Leaves, Tattered Florals, the Snow Cap Paint Dabber, and Vintage Photo Ink. Like that card in the center with the flowers? Try Waiting For Santa Journaling Cards by Webster's Pages!
Kim made this beauty using the Mini Florets Mask, the Labels 8 Die by Spellbinders, Wendy Vecchi's Text Stamp, Fairytale Frenzy by Tim Holtz, and a nonstick craft sheet. Like that flower? Try distressing an Innocence Fiesta flower with Vintage Photo.
Linda E, this is a very cool frame. I like the Peeled Paint on the Wendy Vecchi Live & Make Art flowers (made with Grungepaper too!). She also used the Borderline Mask, Fragments, and stamps by Tim Holtz.
