Hola! Hope you are all having a fabulous Wednesday! We are at Simon Says! If you haven't visited the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog, you'd better hop to it - this week's challenge is a good one. All you have to do is create a card using this recipe:
1 image
2 patterned papers (+1 plain card for layering)
3 different types of embellishments
Sounds pretty delicious, eh? Technically, you don't even have to cook! Join our following to get our newsletter, and enter your card for a chance to win $50.00 to SimonSaysStamp.com, your one stop shop superstore!!!! Here's what our fabulous Design Team made:
Cathy used the Unwrapped Tilda image by Magnolia. Try Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, and/or Sepia to get an aged look like this.
Heather used a Sarah Kay stamp called Spring Blossoms. Like how that pink paper is embossed? Try Burlap & Swirls by Tim Holtz! Need pearls or other embellishments?
Christine used the Tilda with Small Gift stamp by Magnolia for her image. She also used some markers to color it - possibly copic?
Kathy used gorgeous bright ribbon on her card - it's so cheery! That cute image is called Hello Dear and is by Penny Black. Try Stazon Ink when stamping your image - it's quick-drying.
Lols used the Doily Lace punch by Martha Stewart and Basic Grey's Kioshi Papers that you have a chance to win as... BLOG CANDY!!! Make sure to join our following and then post comment about your favorite image from this challenge!
Jo used Hemp Twine to attach the button. She used a Pure Innocence stamp called Being Cute Is What I Do. She probably used an Acrylic Block too!
Mandy used pretty metal-rimmed brads like the Hello Sunshine brads by American Crafts. She used a paper distresser to give these papers some texture. In need of lace ribbon? Check out Kaiser's Cream Lace Pack.
Tara used Coralace Calcutta Petals by Prima Flowers. Like that adorable image? I do! It's by Penny Black and called Sweet Thing. Want to do some stitching? Try the Smartek Handheld Sewing Machine.
Domi used Tilda with Apple from the Fairytale Collection. Aren't those flower charms cute? Browse our Charms category to find some that fit with your card! I'm loving how she distressed the torn edges of the paper. Try the Baby's Breath set for this effect!
Debby used a Penny Black Stamp called Hang on Hedge. Want to color with pencils, try Prismacolor! Like those fun papers? Check out Tickled Pink some something similar.
Jane used the Sleeping Baby Tilda stamp by Magnolia. She also used Snowflake Calcutta Minis by Prima Flowers.
Dawny used the Sneaky Tilda Stamp from the Merry Little Christmas Collection. Try Prima's Zinnia flowers to create a layered look like you see here. And by the way, Jillibean Soup has orange polka dot ribbon.
