Ok - I have to come clean....metal is one of my favorite embellishments of, dare I say it, ALL TIME! :-0 Why? It goes with everything.
Join our Simon Says Stamp & Show Design Team and create something that fits with this challenge! If you do, you could be a winner of a $50.00 gift voucher to Simon Says Stamp. Think of all the metallic items you could buy!!!! hehe
Here's what the lovelies on the Design Team have created to help inspire you! (we're so lucky that they work so hard to keep us from getting stumped! xoxo)
Lynne used Once Upon a Springtime paper by Graphic 45 (I love this!). Like those crochet flowers? You have options here - you can go for Spring Liz by American Crafts or try Prima's Love Note Collection!
Linda used a Paper Stump Blending Tool and the Big Daddy Baroque Metal Mold by Ten Seconds Studio. She also used a metal button like the kind Graphic 45 has!
Nancy used the Big Shot Machine by Sizzix and the Ten Seconds Studio mold called Kabuka 4 with Chocolate Metal from a multi-pack, Foliage pieces and Adage Tickets by Tim Holtz. She also used some Clearly for Art by Wendy Vecchi.
Sarah used Papillon and Urban Chic stamp sets by Tim Holtz, and distressed them with his Distress Inks. She also used Memo Pins and Pen Nibs.
Lori used It's Face Art and Just Sew Artsy by Wendy Vecchi. I believe she also used Blackout that is a lot like Clearly for Art (only black), and most likely a Heat Tool to mold it.
Kim used some metal parts that look like Industrial Gears and Gem Gears by 7 Gypsies. She also used Metal Foil Tape Sheets by Tim Holtz.
Terry used Grungeboard Elements Dots, brads, and pretty pink ruffly ribbon like Bo Bunny's Pink Ruffle Wrap (keep an eye out for new Bo Bunny this week)
Nancy used Hinge Clips, a manila tag, Green Metal by Ten Seconds Studio, and Tim Holtz's On the Fence Die.
Dan used all sorts of Idea-ology!!! I LOVE it! Let's see...some of what we have here: Word Keys, Pen Nibs, Game Spinners, Adornments, Corners, Keyholes, Muse Tokens, Regal Adornments, Sprocket Gears, Type Charms.
Linda used Kabuka Mold 7 by Ten Seconds Studio, Art Parts by Wendy Vecchi, and Grunge Paper by Tim Holtz.
Wow!! Some more impressive work by the Stamp & Show DT!!! Thank you all for your work and for sharing it with us!!
Don't forget to play along!! Enter by Wednesday and you might win some top secret blog candy! (I'll announce on Wednesday what the prize is and who the lucky winner is!)
