  6. I am in Canada so this weekend has been quite hectic so far. July 1st was Canada's birthday. We went downtown and braved the crowds. It was lots of fun and we even got to see the royal couple. Yesterday among other outings we went to feed chipmunks and red squirrels in a nearby park. It's really, really hot today (with the humidity they are forecasting 102 degrees) - we were planing to go to a farm but it might turn to be the mall instead, lol.

  7. Ooh such gorgeous papers I can't wait to get my hands on them!
Today we went to a picnic at my girlfriends. I've known her since I was 5 years old. She was my best fiend and neighbor and we did absolutely everything together since we woke up until we went to sleep. I haven't seen her in years and happened to bump into her at the movies and she invited me to her 4th of July picnic. I brought my daughter and son in lay and my three beautiful grandchildren. I also brought along my daughters in laws who are also our best friends. So it was a huge event. And OMG my first crush ever was there. It was my girlfriends Uncle John how funny is that. My hubby got a kick out of it? Here we are 35 years later and it was like time never past. Absolutely Wonderful. My advice for the day is get in touch with your roots it's totally wonderful to reminisce about the old days!
    Hugs Bonnie

  19. I love the American Pride stamp set by Darcie. I just made a patriotic card for my grandson who is in the Army. It was a take off of Tim Holtz's card. Having those stamps would have made it so much better. Thanks for the inspiration!
