A Taste of Ali Edward's Week in the Life 2011!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today I am so excited to share with you a tiny teaser of designer Ali Edward's completed Week in the Life Project for 2011! Week in the Life is an opportunity to take a week of your life and completely document it. By using forms to record daily activities and events, collecting the little scraps and memorabilia from the day, and taking tons of photos- you are able to create a collection of your life or your family's life that you can always look back on and treasure!

This is a sample of Ali's Monday page. An important thing Ali mentions on this day is to try and record things you wish you would have known about others and their lives. What did your Grandma look like when she drank her morning coffee and slowly woke up to the day? Try taking photographs of yourself first thing in the morning! Or maybe what are some things 15 years from now you'd want to remember? This is your time to record those very things! Her Favorite Memories stamps with Technique Tuesday are a great reminder of this, and accent to your pages!

This Wednesday example of her final product is a great showcase of the documentation sheets Ali has provided this year to help everyone out with their documenting of the day. We R Memory Keepers offers lots of different binding options and book board options for creating your own binder to store your project! Even though Wednesday's can seem dull, it's important to remember even in the middle of the week that each day is so special! Ordinary Days by Ali and Technique Tuesdays can help encourage you with Wednesdays!

I think this Friday section is my favorite! I love the left hand page, and the bright watermelon. What a fresh and important little memory to look back on- yummy summery fruit with the family. Another fun tip is to have other people take some pictures too. It would be a fun twist to remember yourself in the memories and see how someone else can capture your life for a little. For the fun button/brad look, check out Basic Grey's Stitched Brads!

I wish we could show you every picture on every page! It's so inspiring seeing how Ali has worked through the stress of recording everything, getting different angles and perspectives through the lens, and hearing her voice through the step by step instructions. I encourage you to check out her project blog to see more details on 2011's Week in the Life project! We at Simon Says Stamp were proud sponsors this year and through this finished project, one can truly see how all the hard work and creativity is worth it!

Thanks for spending time with us!
Michelle
