Happy Saturday, bloggers! Today we bring you a really cool technique by Britta Swiderski...it's called a DOUBLE clear emboss resist! Will you take a look at that beautiful card above?! Would you like to make one? Me too! Britta made a fabulous video that we will share with you below.
First I'd like to share with you a short bio about our featured designer today: Britta Swiderski is a Graphic Design major at the University of Minnesota and has been scrapbooking, cardmaking and crafting for as long as she can remember. She loves to explore new techniques and teach others about them, which led her to start up a blog several years ago and now to do at least one video tutorial each week. She enjoys educating others on techniques she's learned from others as well as come up with herself, and she's always itching to get creative as a break from her educational obligations. She aspires to work in the crafting industry as a graphic designer and/or teacher upon graduation.
This is kind of an angled picture to get an idea of the delicious texture you'll get with this technique!
Also, here is a sweet note from Britta: "Thanks so much to Simon Says Stamp for inviting me to do this video tutorial for you! I'm a huge lover of distress inks and am always playing around with them. This technique I'm sharing today is something I discovered on accident and really liked the look of. The coolest things happen when you just sit down and play with inks and see what happens. What a perfect thing to do in STAMPtember!" Check her out HERE!
Without further ado...let's play!
