  21. So many favorite Thanksgiving foods to share with family---turkey, stuffing, cranberries, sweet potatoes with apples and pecans, pumpkin pie...

  22. My favorite tradition is cooking two turkeys...one the day before, making the gravy, too. When it is cooked and cooled, I carve it and package it up into baggies so that everyone who comes to Thanksgiving dinner gets to go home with turkey for those delicious day after Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches! And because the gravy was already made the day before, one less chore to do while spending time with family.

  36. My dad and brother were always deer hunting on Thanksgiving so it was a real girls day for my mom and I. We would stop up on movies, wear our most comfy clothes, and do a few crafts together.

Now I'm married with a child and my mom has been gone several years. I do the more traditional Thanksgiving with family now. I miss my girls day Thanksgivings with my mom.

As for Thanksgiving, my favorite is really just getting together with family and being able to catch up with those who we don't see enough. Then, of course, Black Friday is the next best thing! The food is always great and the left overs even better!
