Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge : Recycling!

I don't think I know anyone who dislikes a free opportunity to win prizes. Do you like to win things? If you do, I recommend entering the Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge! You will have the chance to win nice comments and $50.00 to Simon Says Stamp! Hooray!
This week's Simon Says Stamp & Show Challenge theme is "Stamp & Show Some Up-Cycling / Re-cycling!". What that means? Take something that has been used at least once for something else and craft away - anything goes!
Here is what our Stamp & Show Design Team has made!

Made by Tracy Evans! Tracy used the Papillon Stamp set by Tim Holtz, as well as lots of Idea-ology pieces!

Made by Candy Colwell! Candy recycled a lot with this piece! Included with the newer items used - Perfect Pearl Pigment Powders and Stickles!

Made by Nancy Wethington! Nancy used Sunset Orange Color Wash to help enhance this box. She also used some ephemera by 7 Gypsies!

Made by Lynne Forsythe! Lynne chose to use these beautiful stars that she found a while ago. Some of the items used to transform them into this gorgeous hanging: the NEW Tim Holtz Winter Seasonal Ink Pads and the Tattered Pinecone Die!

Made by Sarah Engles-Greer! Sarah recycled old newspaper and used White Picket Fence Stain to lighten it - how cool is that?! The inside is lined with some Fabulous Graphic 45 paper (possibly from the Halloween In Wonderland pack!).

Made by Dan! Dan used the wonderful Seasonal Paper Stash by Tim Holtz - fun fact: it contains paper for ALL seasons, not just Christmas!

Made by Terry! Terry recycled to help create this beautiful piece! She used Distress Inks and Rock Candy Crackle Paint by Tim Holtz!

Made by Ellen Vargo! Ellen chose to recycle an old book! I love the leaf vines around the edges! They're by Dyan Reaveley and can be found in her Further Around the Edge stamp set!

Made by Linda Coughlin! Linda recycled a picture frame! Those beautiful leaves were also partially recycled and she colored them with Alcohol Inks!

Made by Linda Elbourne! Linda used an bean can and covered it with Grungepaper! Don't you love the colors? She used Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans Distress Inks - and chances are, she reused blue and green Ink Blending Tool pads when she inked!

Thanks to the Stamp & Show Design Team for your hard work, recycling and fun inspiration!

  19. My fav is the flashing scraps from our roof repair. I run them through my Big Shot with my Top Note die or butterflies or Tiny Tim Tags dies. Then I may run them through with a Cuttlebiug embossing folder to leave a beautiful embossed design.
