The 6th Tilda of Christmas!

Hello, all! Kristina here.

For today's video, I got to color a Tilda image from Magnolia. I'm just learning Copic markers and I'm not too adept with them yet, so I did watercolor pencils instead. :)

For the scallop edge around the image, I actually punched a bunch of circles out of Magnolia patterned paper and adhered them behind the edge of the circle. It's a super fast way to add a scallop edge to card elements without needing a special die or punch.

Anyhow, enjoy!

  7. Another beautiful card. I love my water colour pencils for images like this too. The scallop tip is going to be very helpful when the smaller scallop die doesn't provide enough ooomph!!

  11. Great way to make scallops! You're like me, I tend to colour everything with watercolours - I feel safer using them than the markers. Actually, lately I have been colouring everything with the Twinkling H2Os and I am finding them easier to work with then blending watercolour pencils.

  15. Nice job Kristina. This is my favorite Tilda so far. Thanks for sharing the video. I have watercolor pencils for stamps. I would love to invest in some Copic markers, but it's not in my budget right now. Maybe Santa will bring me some :)
