Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas 2011 - DAY 1



YAH! Are you crazy like me? I stayed up all night waiting until 3AM EST for Tim Holtz to post this year's Tag #1 for the 12 Tags of Christmas. WHEEE! It was a delight! Mario was giving Behind the Scenes (BTS) from Twitter (Mariojrossi) all night and the suspense grew with every photo. My favorite was the shot of Tim's glitter laden Disney t-shirt. OOOH! When I saw glitter, I knew magic was really in the air!




We are posting the supply list so you can see what he used, but using as much as you can from your own stash is a fun challenge too. Definitely DEFINITELY, I would recommend using the Tattered Pinecone if you haven't already. SPECTACULAR! Don't forget to watch Tim's video on how to use it and also how it can be used to make a cameo rose on his blog HERE.

Baby Abby kept me company on and off through the night waiting for the tags to go live. It was fun for us to be alone during the night without her big brother making loud noises and wanting to wrestle with her. It was a good reminder to "stop and smell the roses". We just hung out together and played. Peaceful, quiet, joyful night.

    Love your story about the night when you and Abby where waiting for tim's tag. For me it was morning so i read all the comment on twitter and then it was there. Tim's tag. So i went to the attic and maked my own tag, posted him on my blog, twitter and ofcourse at Tim's blog.
    and now i'm looking forward for Mario's BTS and ofcourse tag 2.

    It's so sweet that you were able to enjoy the time with your baby as you were all pumped up waiting for the tag. Mario's is awesome with BTS. Had to turn away and go to bed. LOL. But I did get my Day One done and posted it on Tim's blog and on mine. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!

    The season has begun now that 12 Tags of Christmas is in full gear!! I LOOOVE that pinecone die, and how cool is it to use a toothpick to roll it?! Wish I would've thought of that before I bought the flower roller thingy!

    Here in Western Australia Tim's Tags arrive late afternoon which is great. I can read all of the instructions carefully, watch the videos (and drool over the perfection of Tim's art), prepare and eat dinner then have the whole evening to make my own version.

    PS I knew I should have given in to the temptation to buy the new Christmas dies, I'll have to see what Santa brings me lol!

    This is my first year doing the Christmas Tags and I'm so very excited! I've been looking at past years for months now with anticipation for my year to start and an amazing start it was! This couldn't have happened at a better time in my life. I needed the distraction and inspiration to rekindle my spirit as it's been an extremely ruff year. Thanks again Tim.
