Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas 2011 - DAY 3 & A Place to Bark Fundraiser by ATTH Yahoo Group

I am loving Day 3 of Tim Holtz' 12 Tags 2011! What do you think? Not only the letter press style, but also the custom stamp color technique is creatively fun and efficient for mass producing holiday cards and tags this season.

Today's tag is a simple design that lends itself to loads of creativity and introduces great techniques! We are really enjoying seeing what everyone is making on their own and linking to inlinkz at the bottom of each of Tim's daily blog posts. SEE TIM'S BLOG FOR DAY 3 HERE. Remember, Tim is keeping the link opportunity live ALL MONTH long so you have loads of time to enter your posts. It's a fun way to share your art. Please consider participating, I think you'll find that you love the 12 Tags project even more (if that's possible!)

At Simon Says Stamp, we strive to be your one stop shop.... sooo you will see that we also have the jingle bells, jute twine, and clear gemstones that Tim used on today's tag. YAH! We absolutely carry EVERYTHING TIM HOLTZ in stock, but you can get so much more too! With Free shipping to USA & Canada for orders over $75, we offer one stop shopping at its finest. If you are a member of the yahoo group for ATTH (All Things Tim Holtz) we are vendor of the month and group members have a special coupon code for an amazing free Tim Holtz gift..... for more information see the bottom of this post.

Be sure to check out Tim's blog for the step by step instructions. He also posted an incredible video to YouTube of his appearance in 2004 on The Carol Duvall show. Tim's encouraging folks to comment on the video because he plans on showing Carol...

***A SPECIAL NOTE FROM the All Things Tim Yahoo Group (ATTH)

We belong to a Yahoo! group named "All Things Tim" , which is made up of over 2600 members from the U.S. and Internationally, who are fans of Tim Holtz and his techniques and products. "(AND, Simon Says Stamp has a special sale for all members right now, so it's a wonderful time to join!)"

A couple of our members and our Group owner, Gloria started planning a fund raiser this summer to benefit the group's postage fund. Gloria has always sent out prizes to group members and was paying the postage costs mainly out of her own pocket.

We decided to plan the fund raiser and it was decided that we would request donations of products for prizes from our fabulous vendors that are members of the All Things Tim Yahoo! Group. We also decided that we would have a better group member participation if the fund raiser were also to benefit an organization. That is when it was decided that A Place To Bark would be the beneficiary for the fund raiser. "A Place to bark is a wonderful organization run by Bernie Berlin. It is an animal rescue that Bernie single handedly started out of her own pocket and has rescued thousands of animals and put them into great homes"

When we contacted Heidi at Simon Says Stamp! to request a donation of product for the prizes the response we got literally blew us away! Heidi's suggestion was that, rather than donating product for a prize, Simon Says Stamp! would match the funds raised, up to the amount of $2000, for the donation to A Place To Bark. "Simon Says Stamp is actually named after their family dog, Simon and the business and its team make donations to A Place to Bark as frequently as possible."

We concluded the sale of tickets for the fund raiser prizes and we're thrilled that we were able to exceed the dollar amount needed to enable Heidi to make the $2000 donation.
We are so thankful for Heidi, Simon Says Stamp! and all of the other wonderful vendor sponsors of this event as well as our wonderful members who rallied to this cause.

Thank you again Heidi for making this such a huge success and we hope that the $2000 donation to A Place To Bark will help Bernie continue to do the wonderful work that she does! Check out Bernie Berlin on Facebook and see more information about her great cause A PLACE TO BARK HERE.

Sincerely,
Gloria, Deb & Laurel, Co-Chairs
All Things Tim Yahoo! Group Fund Raiser Committee

Our THANKS TO Gloria, Deb, Laurel and the amazing All Things Tim Yahoo Group for coming together for great causes! Thank you for your hard work! - Heidi

So, as you can see, people are touching people - and animals - far and wide! We hope you join in the 12 Tags fun and post whatever you've created onto Tim's Blog HERE and share in the fun!

Have a great day!
Heid

It really makes me appreciate y'all more. I love to buy from companies who do good things like that. How fun to learn that your company was named after your dog, Simon--we had a schnauzer named Simon. He passed away several years ago, but was such a sweetheart :)
