Painting with Alcohol Inks

Hello, all! Kristina here.

Not too long ago, I saw a Heidi carrying a Tim Holtz District Market Butterfly Tote and had to comment on it. It was beautiful! When I asked her about it she said that she had painted it with alcohol inks. How clever!

So today I'm trying out the same and I'm taking you guys along for the ride.

I had no previous experience with alcohol inks, but they were pretty easy to work with, especially because I used an Aquash brush filled with Alcohol Blending Solution. Any brush strokes, etc. seem to "settle" with time. Also, as I was painting the bag, I made note of some tips and tricks to share with you in the video below.

  3. What a great idea! My brain started working immediately. Think of the possibiities if you ran transparencies through a printer with black designs. I can see unique cards, ATCs, etc. coming in my future. Thanks for the inspiration.

  21. When your are sporty, or when having a great time at the dancing floor, or a romantic evening with your sweetheart, on each event you are in different mood. Likewise your perfume choice should also vary. Visit www.rightperfumes.in/item.asp?cid=&oid=10&i=Perfumes-Men-Pefume-Gents for details.
