You Are My Happy!

Hello bloggers and happy Wednesday to you!  The view from my office currently looks like I'm inside a snow globe! Very pretty to look at but I have to drive home later so I'd be fine with it stopping :)  Anyway, I'm so excited to share this gorgeous card with you today, from our dear friend and Design Team member, Joy Taylor!  Be sure to check out her blog for oodles of gorgeous inspiration!  Be inspired by her every week on our Simon Says Stamp Challenge! I love the layering of this card, the clever way she incorporated all the days of the week from the Jenni Bowlin Weekdays stamp set, and who could resist the adorable little camera?  It's a part of the Amy Tangerine Lovestruck stamp set!

Full Supplies List:

Also, Joy typed up the instructions on how to make this beautiful card for your convenience!  Isn't she awesome?

1. Trim card base to measure 4 ¼ x 5 ½, corner round each corner using the corner chomper.

2. Trim white card stock to measure 4 x 5 ¼ and corner round each corner.

3. Taking the days of the week from the Jenni Bowlin,Weekdays stamp set, starting with Monday and working through the days, ink with Malted Milk and stamp the entire white card stock with the days to create your own unique background. Adhere to the front of the card with foam dimensionals.

4. Using more white card stock, run a piece through your die cutting machine and die cut a circle measuring approx. 2 ½ to 3 inches in diameter.

5. Take the Graph Background stamp from Hero Arts, ink with Weather Vane and stamp over the die cut circle, adhere the circle to the front of the card with foam dimensionals, placing in the middle of the card.

6. Stamp the camera from the Amy Tangerine, Love Struck stamp set onto a piece of blue card stock, with Versamark ink, add a layer of white embossing powder and heat set.

7. Trim camera out.

8. Re stamp the same camera onto a piece of pattern paper (try Basic Gray Kissing Booth
ink the stamp with Brown Sugar ink and stamp, trim out the heart and adhere to the blue camera.

9. Adhere the camera with foam dimensionals to the top of the circle on the card.

10. Lastly, trim a piece of white card stock to form a sentiment banner, stamp the sentiment from the My Happy stamp set with Hero Hues Black Die ink, cut V’s into each of the ends of the sentiment banner and adhere to the bottom of the circle with foam dimensionals.
