Patterned Paper Card

Morning, all! Kristina here with another video and card idea. :)

For today's card I wanted to challenge myself to use very minimal supplies. Originally, I planned to only use the Sweet & Sour 6x6 pad from Jillibean Soup, white Neenah card stock, and adhesive, but I threw in a brown American Crafts marker at the last minute for some detail. All in all, I'm happy with the result.

Sometimes it's fun to challenge yourself by only giving yourself a certain amount of supplies. It's one of the reasons I love and hate packing up supplies to craft at a friends house... I hate that I can't pack my entire craft room (eek! Can you imagine?), but I love that I can challenge myself to only use what I have. It's a great way to stretch those creative muscles. :)

  2. Brilliant! I did the same thing this past weekend at my friends house. I managed to forget things including my blending tools :O But I managed to make 12 cards and a box just with the supplies I had taken with a one or two of my friends supplies :)
