Hi readers! I hope your weekend is going well! I have lots of plans this weekend, and although they're all fun things- I feel like it's not a break at all! Does that ever happen to you?
I hope this post turns into a little moment of calm for you though, because I think these cards are just so stunning! Jill Foster created her series of cards after being inspired from Stephanie's Stamping and Sharing Blog! I encourage you to check out both of these women's blogs to see more awesome works!
First up, we have Stephanie's beautiful Mother's Day card! It's easy to see how Jill was pumped to use the creativity on this card for some of her own!
So then this is the series of cards Jill created on her own! Luckily, on her blog, she gave a complete run down on how to make these beauties!
Here's some simple steps:
-Begin by stamping Penny Black 40-102 Dreamy using Faber-Castell Stamper's Big Brush Markers -Add darker shading to the flowers
with very sharp Faber-Castell Art Grip Colored Pencils
-The
background was inked with Old Paper and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
-Then she stamped Penny Black 2025M Music Note Background, removing some ink
with a baby wipe before stamping
-The brown butterflies were stamped with VersaMagic chalk ink
-Adhere
patterned paper to the back side of this stamped piece before folding
down the corners
-Add on your favorite sentiment
-Punch some Classic Butterflies by Martha Stewart
