Hi blog-friends! Are you having a great week? I can't wait to share some of Lisa Spangler's works with you! A fun fact about Lisa: she owns three bikes and has a mountain bike, a fixed gear bike,
and her pride and joy is a road bike. Along with her large collection of bike stamps, you could say she owns more than 20 bikes :) Lisa always has the brightest, most creative cards on her blog and I would highly recommend making her blog "Sideoats and Scribbles" a regular stop!
Today I'm going to show ya' two different themes of cards- first up: Embossed Washi Tape Cards!
Isn't this absolutely FUN?! I am a big neon fan right now, and just adore how Lisa colored the bird to match the washi pattern! After she made her pattern, Lisa then embossed it with a Herringbone embossing folder! The texture adds so much interest!
With a more subtle color palette, this Thank You card is stunning too! This time, Lisa made her design of washi, and then used a Houndstooth embossing folder!

Now onto a different type of card- Heroes Card Drive cards from Lisa! Laurel Beard and Lawnscapings Challenge Blog are doing a card drive to support Laurel's husband who just left on deployment with the U.S. Navy, and all the courageous men and women who serve alongside him on the ship! What I love about this drive, is that the cards are meant for the troops to be able to send out to their family and friends! Can you imagine the deep longing of missing your family member or friend while their serving, and then suddenly receiving one of these cards with their handwriting and well wishes inside?! How awesome!
