To kick start our weekend, I have some ADORABLE Paper Smooches inspiration cards with some of the new stamps!
Shilo created the first and second cards below, aren't they just so shabby chic?! I love how perfectly the embellishments and papers work together! She used the Pip Squeaks Paper Smooches set for the first card, and then the Green Acres Paper Smooches set for the second! The sentiment could not be more fitting for that card (and it's included also in the set!)!
Teri created this card using one of my personal favorite stamps set from Paper Smooches- Qwick Qwips!
Besides the fact these colors are incredible together, I love how the stamps fit into each other!
Here's another example of how some of the words work. Each sentiment or abbreviation in the set fit onto the tag stamp that's included, either vertically or horizontally! So perfect!
Next up, we have a lovely interpretation of this interior design into a card by Emily Keaton!
Emily mentions how she left blank space in honor of the blank wall in the photo- and I think it definitely does the card justice! She used the Wake Up Paper Smooches set, and it's awesome how the toast shooting out of the toaster gives such a vertical effect.
Stamp sets from above, and some ingredients to recreate these cards:

ReplyDeleteWhat awesome cards. So inspiring. makes me want to make something.
ReplyDeleteWe're attending the Utah Arts Festival. My oldest son is volunteering in the Children's tent and we're just hanging out, enjoying all the art.
Friends of ours are opening a pie shop this weekend, so will be there munching our way to goodness!!!!
ReplyDeleteI plan on cleaning and packing this weekend so not much fun but I will be taking a road trip next weekend:)!!
ReplyDeleteI am going to swim and craft all weekend... can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThe teens are having a meeting at our house. And I have laundry to do. And tons of cleaning. No rest for the weary.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I am getting together with some fellow scrappers for a little while and doing some scrapping, then I will proably go to the farmers market also. Then maybe we will take the kids to the botanical center for a railroad garden exhibit. Oh, and we are going out for ice cream tonight!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to put a goo d spin on this but I am packing up a lot of my flat. I am having renovations done and need to have all my things out of the way. On the up side, by the end of July, when the renovations are done, I will have a brand new crafting space with lots of storage and room to work!!!
ReplyDeleteSunday and 3 more days in the next 10 we're attending the US Olympic Track & Field trials in Eugene, Oregon! It's going to be a blast - and maybe I can sneak over to a craft store for more goodies!

I will be helping him take down from the show on Sunday, but that isn't my fun thing. My Mom's church is having a 'salad bar' luncheon and silent auction on Saturday and I'll be going to that. It's always fun to see all the cool things up for auction and maybe bid on some of them.

ReplyDeleteSome fun plans for this week-end? Well that´ll be that we´re celebrating the midsummer here tomorrow night, and every year it´s celebrated with a huge bonfire, where we place a witch on top of the fire and send her to Bloksbjerg. It´s a very old Scandinavian tradition, that we´ve been following always and now my kids and grandkids are all comming here for this every single year on June 23rd. Last week-end I made the huge witch together with 4 of my grandkids. You can see some pics of it here if you like: http://maryannla.multiply.com/photos/album/452/Our-busy-week-end-here.
