Hello there!
I hope you're feeling crafty today : ) Here we are with a fantastic image tutorial by Roree Rumph of the October Afternoon design team! These flowers are not only lovely to look at, but making them is fairly simple too!
The Cakewalk collection is so fun! I love the polka dots and the colors. October Afternoon has strong embellishments too...perfect to accompany any project - Miscellany, Buttons, Wraps, Designer Brads, Doo-dads, Tidbits, Flower Sack, Journal Cards, Here & Now, Washi Tape, Tin Pins, Little Flyers, plus Mini Market, Word, Label, and Sticky Keys Stickers! Whew! Glad I got to type that instead of say it all in one breath! : )
For more detailed instructions on how to create these beauties, click here.
Isn't the dimension lovely? I think it's neat to give and receive cards with texture and dimension... Nice to have something with substance to hold on to : )
The way the smaller flowers are clustered with the larger flowers is quite eye-catching too!
And a beautiful layout using the same flower technique by Roree Rumph!
I love that October Afternoon's buttons have character - doesn't the swirled button look great as a center for the flower?
