In celebration of crafting with our kids, we have developed this "Junior Stamper" kit targeted for ages 4 through 14. The kit includes a whole assortment of products from stamps, ink, neon papers, coloring pages, twistable crayons, markers, window markers to stickers, washi tape, and scissors (safe for 4+). There is a huge list of supplies and many of them reusable for a long time to come. It's important to celebrate our children and so the kit is complete with a "Junior Stamper" Certificate of achievement. The kit is absolutely loaded with value....gotta love that!
Jesta is part of our Simon team. Jesta's son, Will, used his kit to make lots of great projects. She said Will was overjoyed to get the kit to work with. Can you believe how beautifully he colored this page!? Here Will is with his coloring page and a birthday card:
For my son Jaxon, I'll be honest. It wasn't really about the finished project. It was about the fun he had creating art..... and something really special that happened that I had not anticipated - his eyes completely and totally lit up when he opened his very own Junior Stamper Kit box.
Something about getting his own kit made him feel so very special. AND I must say.... when he saw that the coloring book had our dog, Simon, on the page, he squealed with delight. Kristina Werner did a fabulous job designing the coloring book pages! Jax was so excited to work with the kit, he actually climbed right onto the table and started stamping and washi taping his pages immediately. He is definitely one happy boy.
I love that each kit has unique stamps and an assortment of washi tape. It's individualized and reminds me of collecting trading cards when I was a kid. It was fun to see which cards were included in each pack. This way if you have multiple kids in your household - they will be able to share their stamps! (I keep telling Jax that sharing is a GOOD thing)
We sent the kits out to a fantastic assortment of kiddos to try and give us their feedback. Please be sure to stop by and see the creativity at work.

I so love that you are showing us some things from the kids. I love when kids are excited about being creative. My kids are grown now, but when they were kids, they always got excited to have some new art supplies. One time a huge craft store went out of business and we happened to stop in on their last day in business. They were selling a cart full of whatever you could fit for $20/cart. They had a ball! Things that I would usually say "No you can't have that." I was saying "Sure, why not?!!" We ended up getting something like $2000 worth of supplies and had a ball sharing them with our friends and their school. That was one of the best and most exciting creative adventures ever.

I don't have any children, but I remember doing my first embroidery project (of a cat) in kindergarten and being sent to the crafts teacher to show it off (and getting praised). Well, I still like cats and I still like to be praised. I love it when a card really comes together and other people come to visit my blog and leave sweet comments.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your proud and happy kids! That's what it's all about isn't it?

ReplyDeleteI really want this kit for my youngest niece, she is turning 8 this month. She is like her aunty, she loves to craft. When she comes to visit thats all we do. She lives so far away and I think this would be so neat to send to her so she could craft with her own stuff. Her biggest loves, painting, dancing, and being daddys princess.
ReplyDeleteOur 6 year old, she is crazy about dogs (43 stuffed dogs in her room and on her bed, 1 doggiebank, 1 knodding puppy, a ton of stickers, should I go on?), so when she saw the prize for this kids challenge, she got so excited, she couldnt sleep úntill she figured out what great creation to make to win that kit, man that was a sleepless night for mam & dad.
