Oh Crab... I forgot + Action Wobblers!
Hello! Kristina here. :)
Today I have another card that uses Google Eyes, but it's one step further by adding an Action Wobbler...
Isn't that hilarious! The spring in the Action Wobbler allows the little crab to move around! He's too cute. :) I used Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals stamp set for both the crab and the sentiment.
I also used the Circle Fusion background stamp from Impression Obsession. I love their background stamps because they are 5.75" square, so the background can be used both vertically and horizontally. This particular background doesn't really have a direction to it (since the pattern runs both ways), but some of their other stamps are directional and it's great to have the option to run the pattern either vertically on your card or horizontally.
Anyhow, enjoy! And be sure to watch the video to see how I implemented the Action Wobbler. :)

That's so awesome! I've seen the packages on your website but didn't know what they were. Thanks for the tutorial. :)

ReplyDeleteTHAT is Darling!! Hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really awesome card here, and I love how it´s moving around and the googling eyes ha ha ha. I´m sure any kid would just love this card, soooo cute and so fun Kristina.
ReplyDeleteThere is one thing, that has been wondering me for a while about all you designers. Isn´t there any of you, who ever decorate your cards inside or at the back too? You make soooooo beautiful cardfronts and then the cards looks so boring and plain inside. Why don´t you teach people to decorate the inside or the back as well too? I would NEVER give a card away, that wasn´t decorated as well inside as outside, but that´s ofcause just my opinion.
Hi Maryann!
DeleteI generally never decorate the inside of cards because that's where I write a note to the recipient. I can be a bit wordy so I reserve the entire inside. :)
Thanks for letting me know. I can too sometimes, but then I use to make some kind of foldet insert, that´ll give me tons of space to write on, when they unfold it.
DeleteBut thanks so much for answering, it has just been wondering me for a while, that sooo many people never do it, so maybe it was just me, who was doing it.
Have a wonderful week-end and lots of fun.
This is one absolutely adorable card. I'm loving those wobblers, I've seen then on a could different blogs now and just love them. TFS!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! I LOVE the card for today!! Such a FUN touch with the googgley eyes!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
ReplyDeleteToo stinkin' cute! I need to find my package of wobblers...
ReplyDeleteOne of the cutest cards ever! Thanks for showing us there's a way to make the scalloped edges without having to buy a die. I always like it when you do those edges. The sentiment is a hoot -- as are the googly eyes. Googly eyes on anything makes me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Love the coloring and the wobblyness ;)
ReplyDeleteso darn cute, I love that crab!
