Cosmo Cricket's Jolly Day Collection

Hello, all! Kristina here. :)

Today I have a card for you made using 8x8 patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket's Jolly Day collection...

I also stamped two of the adorable little characters from the line and colored them in using Copic markers. The Jolly Day stamp set from this collection is so fun and quirky...

I think they were begging to be stamped and colored in, don't you? I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copic Markers, and then carefully trimmed them out. To make them look perfectly cut out, I ran the edge of a black brush tip marker over the edges. I also added a bit of Glossy Accents over their eyes. :)

So let us know! Have you started your holiday cardmaking yet?

  3. This card is ADORABLE! And I love how beautifully it's colored. I've made two or three Christmas cards so far. I'm kinda wading in and taking my time this year.

  4. What a fabulous fun card. Those stamps and papers look fab too. I make Christmas cards all year long and loving it. So far, I've made about 30 and need about 30 more, so I'd better start creating them in multiples. Fortunately, there are several challenge blogs out there that are dedicated to making Christmas cards, so there's plenty of inspiration around.

  20. Too cute but I have to ask - is the shadow behind the deer and penguin colored with copics or a natural shadow?
