  2. I have been stamping about 18 months and Beate Johns has definitely been one of the creators I follow!!! So fun to see her featured here.

I think embellishments and fun sentiments are great in card kits!

  3. You've had so many great products in the kits. Cardstock, patterned paper and a stamp set are a definite must, and adding different embellishments is great. How about something like flower soft/flocking? Or maybe some chunky embossing flakes(not sure what its called). Please don't stop the kits, absolutely love them.

  5. stamps and washi, maybe a mister.
LOVE that first card. the muted tones still make a surprisingly STRIKING card! gorgeous!

  6. I love the card kits! A die, embossing powder or an ink pad would be cool in the kit. I am glad that you are going to continue them. I would be so sad to have them stop.

  7. OH MY! the quilted card is so pretty Beate!

I LOVE the papers and stamp sets in the kits....it would be GREAT if dies were added, and the ability to ship other items with kit would be nice.

  9. Your kits have a lovely mix of items but would love to see some dies and inks!!!

  10. I love the stamp sets, and I'd love to see more of those wooden sentiments, they are fantastic! Some more embellishments too, the last couple of kits haven't had as many.

  12. I would love to see some dies that coordinate with the monthly stamp set!

  13. I love the monthly card kits! I'm so excited to hear that they will be continued into next year. I always look forward to the 5th of the month to see what the kit of the month will be. Here are 3 ideas I have: babies, mother's day, and birthday. It would be fun to have a kit that celebrates the birth of babies/baby showers. Also, I would love to have a kit for celebrating Mother's Day and/or Father's Day. There don't really seem to be enough stamps out there for the occasion. Finally, it seems like I always need a birthday card. They aren't my favorite to make, but they are the ones I need the most. Maybe having a kit dedicated to them would help me be more motivated.

  15. Thanks so much for your super kind and sweet words! I LOVED playing with the kit.

I am excited that you decided to continue producing these kits. They are so much fun to play with! I would LOVE to see more chipboard words like the Always in the October kit. More gorgeous dies and beautiful stamps that you already featured...

I think those kits are already pretty perfect the way they are. :)
Thanks again for letting me play.
    Have a wonderful weekend!
    Hugs and smiles

  18. Lovely card
Having a kit set for Birthdays would be fantastic and lots of little embellishments in it along with a die that works with the stamp set would be brillant.

  22. Beate is always such a wonderful inspiration! Thank you!
I love my card kits! I really appreciate that a whole stamp set is included because it's something that can be used over and over again! A die would be a fabulous addition for the same reason! :o)

  23. Beate is a true cardmaking genius. Thanks for featuring her. I'd like to see some "one sheet wonder" card cutting ideas to make full use of the papers. The kits are fine, just the way they are, though coordinating stamps and dies might be a good idea.

    ReplyDelete
  24. These cards are so creative and beautiful. Beate is really so talented and I love to see her ideas! the kits look fine to me, but as someone suggested more dies would be nice! Especially, I think the word dies!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think it would be AWESOME to change it up and include some of your dies or other dies that go along with the kits!! Also, embossing powders, glitters, or other new products that people would be wanting to try before you buy alot of it!! THANKS again for sharing the Card it was BEAUTIFUL!! THANKS for the chance to win and have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)

  26. How about sticky paper or Scor tape and glitter. Dies, dies always attract me to a kit.
    Perfect pearls. Distress stains.

    ReplyDelete
  27. These cards are absolutely gorgeous!

I'm a stamper, so I love that there are stamps included, but maybe also inks that coordinate could be in the kit. It would also be great if some Copics were included! :-) xx

  28. Beautiful cards. Love the color combo, simple and elegant

  29. Beate........you always do awesome cards. Love the one with the meadow rue. I have that die and really love it! Love the colors.

  30. I just added Beate Johns to my favorite blog list. Love her cards. Very elegant but fun too.
Card Kits: Would like to see sentiment dies, embellishments, and maybe glitter or inks, misters included with the card kits. So glad you decided to continue in to 2013. They are so color coordinated which I have difficulty with that all the time.

  31. These cards are stunning! Wow! Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I think your card kits are great but I've never ordered one and here's why...I'm on a tight craft budget so I buy things that can be used many ways. And I would probably buy one if there was a versatile die or versatile background stamp because they can cost at least half or more of the cost of your kit. Then I would 1 product from your kit that could be used forever and at least for me, that would be a great value.

    ReplyDelete
  33. These are just stunning! Those kits are always a wonderful asset to my craft time :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Beautiful....You always bring in the most talented designers. These are so stunning. Love them so much....

    ReplyDelete
  35. Love Beate's cards, she is so talented. I'am crazy in love with the kits! I think a die or stamp/die set would be nice. The kits are well worth the money. Thanks for a chance to win.

  36. Beate is such a talented lady!
Some dies in the kits would be a good thing

    ReplyDelete
  37. The kits are fun and fabulous, and definetly well worth the money. I am glad to see that you will be continuing them into the new year.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I too have been a Beate fan and watched many of her videos. The kits look like a lot of fun.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Beautiful cards Beate!! I haven't bought any card kits as of yet, but hope to soon. I really like the ones that offer the wooden words, and I think every kit should include a stamp set and pp of course. You could change it up and do like technique months, like Copic month where u include 2 Copics pens, some Neenah cardstock, the pp and a smaller (single) stamp . Or, if you wanted to highlight the glitter technique, include some double sided tape and glitter. Watercolor month could be Gelato's or Big Brush Pens from Faber Castell and a water pen.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The kits are just beautiful and do include alot. I was thinking maybe an embossing clear pad and embossing color, would be a good idea in one kit.
Beate's cards are just so nice.

  41. I'm so glad you'll be continuing the card kits. I have been eyeing them, but just need to save up more money (or stop spending on other things). I agree with the others about including more sentiment stamps and would love to see some Simon dies added to future card kits, especially frames or tag dies with matching stamp inlays? I'm sure they will be amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Leter stickers and small templates would be my picks! <3

    ReplyDelete
  43. These cards by Beate are fabulous. I'm so glad you're continuing the kits. I was thinking themes for some of the months. Including a die would be a great idea. I love the wooden words, and wood veneers would be be cool.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I have yet to get a kit from SSS but I would love to see rhinestones, or brads. I do love that you add stamps and tapes and letters love the wood pieces too. I think you are all doing a great job. And some day soon I will be getting a kit, promise!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Beate is the best. Her videos are so clear and informative. Adding one of the new fabulous Simon Says dies in the card kits would be awesome. I love the dies I have and I know others would too.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I can't think of anything you need to add to the kits. There is always a nice mix of papers, stamps, trims etc. Maybe more stamps of Kristina's lovely handwriting. (I'm getting quite a collection of those). The washi tape is always fun too. Thanks for this great blog BTW.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Beate created some gorgeous cards! I would love to see more embellishments and SSS stamps sets. Maybe some flock and washi tape.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Gorgeous cards!!!! Love Beate's work! I wish my budget would allow your kits because I think they are awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Pretty cards! I am enjoying the stamp kits very much. I would love to see ink spray, microfine glitter, and templates. Keep the stamps from Kristina coming, as they are my favorites from the kits. Also, SSS dies would be cool too!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I've not tried any of the stamp kits yet, but it's amazing what everyone does with them! I love Beate's cards, especially the quilted background on the 2nd one! Everything Beate creates is gorgeous!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I would like more of your exclusive stamps and dies in the kits.

    ReplyDelete
  52. It would be great to include one die for die cutting, or maybe a small bottle of color spray to match the kit. We all have paper, but these little extras would be something special.

  53. I think that the kits are pretty complete but seeing something different like enamel accents or some kind of gel colour sticks may work nicely to create something more graphic.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Lovely cards drom Beate. As for the kits, they seem wonderful as is but enamel brads are always funto have more of. :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. I have bought several of the kits and very much enjoyed them. It is always fun to get exclusive items and with all the lovely dies you have been coming out with I love to get one in the card kit that is exclusive to it first and then later available to everyone. Thanks for the great kits.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Fabulous cards! I'm a big admirer of Beate's work, too. I love the stamp sets you've been including in your kits!

  60. Dies and stamps would be my suggestions. Things you get value out of once the rest of the kit is used up.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I would love to see some of the masking sheets that Kristina Werner uses in one of the kits. I would love to be able to try them out before having to buy a pack. Thanks!
And I am loving the kits...you are doing a great job! I have been super impressed with all the stuff that is in them.

    1. I would like to say that, for me, dies would not be useful. I don't have a die press machine and I don't plan on getting one so I would not use the dies at all.
I think that adding distress inks or spray mists would be great too.

  62. Gorgeous cards! Am stoked to read that you will be continuing the card kits - I will be joining up for sure :) - I think just having a test of various new products are the drawcard. I tend to do a lot of rubber stamping, so different embelishments etc which make me try new techniques is really exciting. I also love all your exclusive stamps and have just purchased an Oct kit (and the Special Xmas one) to have a play with. Looking forward to receiving them :)

  63. I have also been a fan of Beate's for years! I first discovered her on Splitcoast Stampers and am always so impressed by her beautiful designs. I would love to see some doily stamps and washi tape in your card kits. Can't get enough washi!!

  64. Beautiful card from Beate, I always love to see her work.
Your card kits look great, maybe include some misters, and your dies are always fab

    ReplyDelete
  70. I loved seeing Beate's cards - big fan here :) as for kits, I love your dies!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I love the exclusive stamp sets. That is the most appealing thing for me now. I was going to suggest adding dies too, but I just read another comment saying she didn't have a die cutting machine. So scratch that. Perhaps a new distress ink marker every month - then you have a whole collection at the nd of the year. That is the next thing on my wish list.

    ReplyDelete
  72. What I would like to see is shipping from Canada. I'm very hesitant to order from the US because of customs fees.

    ReplyDelete
  73. While there are many good ideas... I really like the kits as they are... I love the SSS stamps and dies so that would be fun... I think the thing not being considered, is that these are special and are a kit.. That doesn't mean everything in it works for everyone, but I am sure we all have crafty friends we could share with... I am thinking of a couple if the comments, such as someone not having a die machine, and someone suggesting copic markers or distress markers - must all be taken into consideration. I personally have all the distress markers (love them) and most of the copics, so in those instances, I could share with my friends. Maybe the option of the kit and an add on pack? Whatever you decide we will all love it and are thankful for these kits!!!! So glad they are being continued!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Wonderful to see Beate here. I've never bought a kit as I live in UK but they look great. If I was to have one, I'd like to see some mica powder with a little mister to add some sparkle and shine. Perhaps a distress ink pad in a brown for people to ink those edges? Just a thought.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I always love washi tape and wood veneer-those and twine are my "go to" staples. An exclusive paper pack would be cool too!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Gorgeous cards!

For the kits: I love Kristina's stamp set & I love how well the collection is coordinated. I have 2 suggestions though. The first is I'd like more embellies. Like your first kit from Feb. That was my all-time fav kit! And the second is maybe instead of a full stamp set we could get a mini set & that way we could have more embellies. That's my 2 cents!

    ReplyDelete
  77. more custom stamps! i'm also a fan of kristina's so i like those the most. they also add value as they can be used again and again.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Love seing Beate here. She is one of my fav. Love the looks that you have shared. It would be interesting to see some paper manipulations that have not been shared before. Love learning how to do new stuff. Stampwise would love to see some done for inspirational encouragements. Thanks for sharing the chance to win.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Beate always does beautiful artwork! I've not purchased a kit yet but exclusive stamps and dies would be what I would look for in a kit.

    ReplyDelete
  80. I love the card kits and I'm always so impressed with all the new items! I too would love to see a die included. I have loved the stamps, washi tape and sentiment options ie stamps, stickers, etc. Please keep the kits coming! I also enjoy seeing the variety of cards created by from the various artists. This blog is wonderful!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Seems to me with addition of exclusive SS dies and stamps you would want to include bits and pieces of those in kits.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I love her style! I am in Canada and have ordered several times from SSS,but not any kits,so will have to keep my eyes open to see if I could be tempted!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Maybe an eensy inkpad or two in coordinating colors would be good? Perhaps a Memento Dew Drop or a Color Box Cat's Eye?

    ReplyDelete
  84. I did not know about the kits, but what ever Beate does is lovely. She is such an inspiration. I will have to check out the kits.
