October Card Kit Inspiration!

Happy Monday, everyone! :)

Today we have some great cards made by fellow cardmakers featuring the Simon Says Stamp October 2012 Card Kit. We've heard from many of you that you love the soft, neutral colors in the kit. We do too! And one of the cards below even uses the neutral color palette as a background for some stunning Copic Marker coloring!

Always & Forever Card by Joy Taylor

First up, we have a card from Joy Taylor. We just love how she created verticals bands with patterned paper that contrast with the large circle. So pretty! Be sure to check out Joy's blog to see another card created with the October Card Kit...

Love U Card by Kathy Racoosin

Kathy Racoosin highlighted the flower and leaves stamps from the included Forever and Always stamp set by coloring them with vibrant Copic Marker colors. So cheerful and bright! The colorful flowers look amazing with the more neutral background. Kathy also has another card on her blog using the card kit, too!

Always Thinking of You Card by Lucy Abrams

We love this clean and simple card from Lucy Abrams, especially how she showed lots of the heart patterned paper from the Fancy Pants Country Boutique 6x6 paper. She also used the Always Alterable Part and finished the card sentiment with a sentiment stamp from the kit!

A big thank you to Joy, Kathy, and Lucy for allowing us to feature their cards today. :)

  12. I really like to see cards that can be made with a piece of paper as the focal point instead of having to do a lot of punching, gluing, etc. All of the cards are lovely (and doable), but I'll be CASE'g Lucy's first. PS: the blog hop was great. I wasn't able to get through all the entries, but am trying my best. There's a lot of talent out there!!!
