A Bright Idea from Lawn Fawn for the Holidays!

Hi bloggers & happy FRIDAY to you!  It's such a treat to bring you this adorable Holiday card from Lawn Fawn President, Kelly Marie Alvarez! I just love seeing stamp sets that weren't made for holiday, turned into a perfectly lovely Holiday card!

Here is a little bit from Kelly about her creative process of creating this fabulous card;

It is so much fun to use non-Holiday sets for Holiday cards! I heat embossed the light bulb from How Delightful in red and green and cut them out cutting off the bottom part so that they look more like Christmas lights. I put a curvy line of liquid glue down on some Fa-La-la papers and adhered some Peppermint Lawn Trimmings cord to create my string. I then used foam adhesive to adhere down my lights and give them some dimension. I love cutting little strips of paper from my 6x6 pads, and the heart paper from Fa-La-La is perfect for that! It added the extra decorative touch the card needed! I stamped a sentiment from Let it Snow on some white card stock, flagged the ends, and adhered it down with foam adhesive also. This card was a blast to make! Thank you so much to Simon Say Stamp for having us!

I love how very cleverly used the light bulbs from the How Delightful set, to make Christmas lights! Would you like to make one too? See below for the ingredients list:

  10. Gifts are the projectors of your emotions. No matter how far you are from your loved terms, just a simple gift can put the lights on the dejected faces of them, who have been missing your presence on their special day. A gift actually brings your inner self before them. Visit www.hampersnationwide.com/Argentina/Gift_Hampers_to_Argentina.asp for details.
