Happy Tuesday, all! Kristina here with another card and video. :)
A few days ago, I discovered that one of the sentiments in My Favorite Things' Seasonal Sentiments stamp set fit perfectly inside the label shape on the Sizzix and Hero Arts Stripes and Frame stamp and embossing folder set. I thought it would be cool to do both dry embossing (with the embossing folder) and heat embossing on a card using the sentiment and background stamp set.
I also used the Let It Snowflake die set from My Favorite Things. I ADORE how intricate the snowflakes are. So dainty!
Anyhow, enjoy!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and brilliant embossing!! Hugs Hazel xx
ReplyDeleteWow!! So pretty! Love the two types of embossing together...lots of impact. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Kristina! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh...NICE! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. I'm wondering if it would work to put the VersaMark on an embossing folder and then run it through the Cuttlebug, then add the embossing powder. Just like to do a letterpress effect with ink. Guess I'll have to try that. Thanks for another inspiration filled video.
ReplyDeleteThanks for another idea filled video! I really like to see more uses for embossing folders and combining them with heat embossing is fabulous! Oh! And great card too!
ReplyDeleteStunning. I, too, was wondering as did Kristie about putting Versa Mark on the embossing folder. Inquiring minds.... Another great card, Kristina. Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge.
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous! I love the shine and texture you created in this wonderful card.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Never seen this folder but I think I need it now. :) That MFT set is one of my favorite Holiday sentiment sets from this year as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles
Beautiful shimmer on this card. Love the pop of white of the snowflake.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you used on this card. I love black and gold and black and silver christmas cards. really classy looking
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the Ranger super fine silver embossing powder too and have been using it on my Christmas cards this year! I do wish the super fine gold and black embossing powder looked as good as the silver but it doesn't turn out the same as the silver does. So impressed with that silver powder! Got to get some more!
