May You Be Blessed (plus tips for Falling Stars Die)

Happy Thursday, all! Wow, this week is just flying by! Anyhow, Kristina here with another card and video for you. :)

For this card, I used the exclusive Simon Says Stamp Falling Stars die. I've heard from some of you that you're having issues with indentations when using this die. Be sure to watch the video below for some tips on how to eliminate this issue.

I did some blending with three Tim Holtz Distress colors: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, and Black Soot. I think these are my favorite nighttime sky colors. I thought they would be perfect over the Falling Stars die-cut.

The Pop-Up Frosty Village punch from Martha Stewart Crafts also made an appearance (see how I used it last year on both this card and this card).

  7. Lovely, as always. The blending on the night sky is very effective. I like it as is, but was wondering if a little scrap of glitter paper behind the star background would be too much. I always learn something from your videos. I wish I had all the supplies you do. ;-)
