Spring is on the way and that means Spring cleaning and organizing! Whether it’s adding to your stamping and crafting supplies, or managing the supplies you have, keeping things organized makes crafting easier and more fun. Today we have a few suggestions of products that will help you to do just that and ideas for sources of great inspiration.
Dies are so popular right now and so fun to create with. But where do you store them all so you can easily find what you need and you don’t misplace any of them? Spellbinders ArtBin makes magnetic storage sheets and a great storage case to keep your dies in place. The case makes this storage portable as well.
Where do you store your Copic markers? Whether you have just a few or are adding to your collection, there are great options for you to keep them all in one place and well organized. If you want to have them displayed in your craft space this may be the solution for you: The Copic Block Stand.
Another option is to store them so you can tuck them away, or even take you with them with you to craft with friends! We show a couple of options here – a 72 piece wallet and a 380 piece carrying case!
Aren’t these cute? These drawers are a great way to store your ATC cards but they are also a cute way to store little pieces.. buttons, decorative brads, Tim Holtz Ideology, or any other small pieces.
Do you find that you use things more often when you can see them? These Button Craft Keeper Jars are just the ticket to create a pretty display of your buttons. We have seen them used for pieces of ribbon and any other small pieces that you want to be able to see and get to easily.
There are so many great sources of inspiration out there and if you have a computer and a little time (ok, maybe a lot of time because it is SO fun to look) you can find them. One source is blogs of designers like our friend Joy Taylor. We love how she used her space and created great organization.
And finally, have you spent time on Pinterest? Oh my --- you can spend HOURS on this site just looking at great ideas that others have posted. Search on 'craft room organizing' and all kinds of ideas will come up. I found Joy Frameworks' great ideas on re-purposing items for your craft supplies. A baking rack for storing cards and a crate for paint storage.
We hope we have inspired you to get organized!! Shop the storage items featured in this blog:

ReplyDeleteI read this post with interest. I keep promising myself a tidy up but usually 2 things get put away before I spot something inspiring and then another 5 get taken out to complete a project!! Sound familiar? I hope I'm not the only one! That baking rack was a great way to store cards but looking around I am short of wall space. Maybe I should get some hooks installed in the ceiling and hang some, hmmmm an idea......

ReplyDeleteThanks for the storage ideas. I can certainly use some...
ReplyDeleteI have 2 serving cases and they are a lifesaver! One for spellbinders and the other for MFT & SSS dies. Very compact and portable, but can get heavy with all the magnetic sheets in them (i filled mine when I bought them, no running out of sheets now!). Love the paint crate.

ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! I just completed my stamp room and it was long overdue. The main reason I needed it done was to organize and for more storage. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI have the magnetic carrying case for my dies and really like it. It stores a lot of dies and doesn't take up a lot of space. I would like the upright case for my copic markers but that would take too much permanent space in my small room. It came out after I already had the wallet for my copics so I won't change my storage system. Thanks for showing some other ideas for storage. I'm always looking for better ways to store everything.

ReplyDeletehugs Anke
Joy's room is totally amazing!!! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat organizing tips! Thanks! :-) xx
ReplyDeleteI have the Art Bin organzier for the Spellbinders and I love it!!! It is well worth every penny I spent. The case it self isn't much and each 3pkg of sheets are great too. I have nine sheets in my case and it isn't full yet either. I have used a lot of different ideas for my Spellbinders but this works the best. My large Grand Ovals fit too, I don't have any of the others but not sure the Grand Circles will all fit or not. I love the Copic Cube idea but this way to expensive for all the Copic markers I have in my stash. Always looking for great inexpensive ideas for the Copics.
ReplyDeleteMy craft space really needs some spring cleaning and organizing, thanks for the tips and ideas to make it easier.
