Hi all! Kristina here.
Today I have a quick and simple card featuring the Scotty alphabet stamp set from Kelly Purkey and Simon Says Stamp, Distress Ink watercoloring, and an embossed background. For the background, I used one of the embossing folders in Lifestyle Crafts Linear set of folders. You could also make a background like this by turning the cardstock in a diagonal and scoring it with a scoring board.
Anyhow, enjoy!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Distress inks are my favourite..do you have any idea if they will be releasing the markers in the seasonal colours? I would love to have some (or all!)of those bright colours like Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry in the distress marker format...
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and such a great technique too.

ReplyDeleteYour tutorial makes things look so easy to do.
Great video again. Im gonna have to try that technique u mentioned using the score board. Finally got me a mini.
ReplyDeleteI was watching for u to use that positioner thing listed in your supplies used.
That's probably pretty much the same as a stamp positioner right.?
I get lots of new ideas and u r one of a few that influence alot of supplies i buy to use and how I use them. Just bought the fiskars stamp press and mid tone inks. Going for a mat like the one u have. Out of stock right now.
Savin my pennies for more crafty stuff.
