Fact: You're Amazing (June 2013 Card Kit)

Hi all! Kristina here. :)

Today I have a card using supplies from the June 2013 Card Kit. I used little strips of patterned paper, embossing the "You Are Amazing" stamp from the Kelly Purkey Dude stamp set that's included in the kit (or available for purchase separately HERE), and also the letter stickers from the kit.

I love the Tim Holtz Core-dinations paper in the kit, too, and wanted to show the kraft core. So even though tearing paper isn't usually my thing, I decided it would look great on this more masculine card.

Be sure to watch the video for some heat embossing tips as well. :)

You can pick up the June 2013 card kit HERE for just $24.95 + shipping. Or if you'd like to receive this kit and future kits for only $19.95 + shipping per month, you can SUBSCRIBE HERE. When you subscribe you will receive kits delivered to your door automatically!

  6. Third, let's say you are not satisfied with the camera that you purchased and you decide to change. What is the best point and shoot digital camera 2011. It's slightly different in terms of look and design, but in terms of functionality
the only improvement is a digital zoom.

  9. I think this is one of my favorite cards you've done Kristina, even though I know I've said it before. ;-) I like the so-called "masculine" look and wouldn't hesitate to give a card like this to a female friend, though I might change the washi tape if I did so.... Everything about this is perfect: design, colors, paper, sticker font and size, embellishments. I LOVE the embossed background. That process never ceases to amuse and astound me.

  12. Cool card. Cant wait to get my kit. I like that crackle paper how it looks like u just stuck the top part that u tore off on the bottom of card. Instead of it actually being the 1 piece it is. Especially with the dash lines the way they are. Super cool. Those I.O stamps are huge. Gonna have to save some more pennies.

  15. Love the card! I always have heated the back of the paper when embossing, but so glad to know about heating the tool up first. I've been doing that since you first suggested it and what a difference it makes. Thanks for that tip.
