Metallic Flower Thanks Card

Happy Thursday! Kristina here. :)

Today I have a card made using two dies from Memory Box: Cecilia Flower Outline and A Little Thanks. After cutting them out, I painted them with Brushed Pewter Distress Paint.

And the left edge of the card is embossed using the Spellbinders Simplicity embossing folder. I love how it looks like the embossing sort of fades into the center of the card. :)

Anyhow, enjoy!

  7. Cool trick with the metallic paint - I would have thought they were cut from metal sheets!

  8. I have used dies to cut aluminum foil to get a silvery metal look. I actually used a bird cage die and it turned out quite nice. It is a little delicate to work with but I liked the look. I like your way too. TFS! Love your videos!
