A Note About Fulfillment Times

HI folks!

It is bittersweet that I need to make this announcement.  You see, we are so happy to have had a successful Summer Sale last weekend.  It makes our hearts happy that so many of you are stamping and crafting and journaling and memory keeping!!  However, we strongly dislike disappointing Happy Crafters who are eagerly awaiting for their crafting supplies.

We are so appreciative of the customer support during our HUGE Summer Sale last weekend!  As many of our regular customers know, it was the biggest sale in the history of Simon.  Simon's logistics department is working 7 days a week and practically around the clock to get orders out the door for you.  Always, we strive to ship all orders within 3 business days.  Unfortunately, we have fallen behind.  Please note that our normal fulfillment times have fallen behind by approximately 1 week.  We are hoping that by the end of next week we are all caught up and back on track.

Great pride is taken in our ability to fulfill orders in a timely basis.  During unusually high order volumes, we do our best to respond effectively.  Rest assured, your order is in good hands and we are working to fulfill it with great care and speed.

  2. That is awesome for you to let us know that. As a customer, I appreciate that very much. That being said, I have had nothing but OUTSTANDING customer service at Simon Says Stamp. The one time I had an issue with an order I had an employee over the phone take care of it for me with her apologies and the wrong product that I received I was able to keep. I want to thank you for your open and honest post and I'm glad you had a successful sale.

  4. Thank you so much for posting this! As a newish customer with only a few orders to date, I was wondering why I hadn't heard yet that my sale order had been shipped. Now that I understand you are simply overwhelmed, I will wait patiently for my goodies to catch up with me.

    Let me take this opportunity to tell you how much I have been enjoying SSS. Your designers are incredibly creative, with projects the average person (me!) can do. I learn so much from all of them every day (and put lots of products on my wish list, to purchase when I can!). Your everyday prices and shipping are reasonable, and I've hit a couple really nice sales too.

    Congratulations from me too on your success and thanks again for the update info!

  11. Heidi, as you and your team take such wonderful care of your customers, I wasn't concerned about the shipping time. With a sale like the one last weekend, waiting a few extra days is not a problem, it just draws out the anticipation!

  17. Dear SSS, really appreciate that you are taking the effort to inform us about the delay - which I'm sure all of us can understand :) I look forward to more sales and more awesome products in stores :)
    Like others, I think SSS has great customer service and I really love the designers you have on the team. Just a side note though - I would love to shop at SSS more if the website could be more user-friendly.. For example, it would be so much more helpful if we could sort products by type/price/date of release/brands, and also have a button where we can request for sold-out items to be restocked.. That would make shopping at SSS totally an awesome experience ;)

Thanks sooo much for letting us know, then I might give my parcel a few more days to arrive, as I admit, I have been really worried, since it´s been almost 3 weeks now and I still haven´t seen it as I´m also still missing my May cardkit, but the customer service said to give it all up to 8 weeks to arrive, which I find quite a lot??? And I have recieved the June kit, but still miss the MAy kit and also the order from early June yet. But will give it a few more days, and if it´s still not here, I´ll have to write you again. But I´ll like to add, that this is higly unusual for anything from you, and now I´ve got the cardkits every month since the very beginning and this is the first time, it´s ever taken this long.

  28. As a Canadian customer I have to have lots of patience...its always more than a week after the shipping notice that I get my happy mail. I think its so thoughtful of you for letting customers know about the delay. I've heard grumblings from others about delays with other companies that weren't so up front about delays. I love SSS and will continue to spread the news of what an amazing company you are. Keep up the good work:)!

  35. Thank you for this information...I placed my first order last Monday and I was beginning to wonder how long it would take to ship...I didn't know there was a sale on! This puts my mind at ease, and of course I understand how very busy you are and so much more when there's a sale and a huge increase in orders.
