Hi bloggers!! Happy Sunday to you! I hope you're having a fantastic weekend! If you're anything like me, you instantly smiled when you saw this adorable card by Kelly Marie Alvarez. The other night I had a dream of a critter in a hot air balloon, and I knew I had to make this card! (Yes, I dream about stamping!)

The other night I had a dream of a critter in a hot air balloon, and I knew I had to make this card! (Yes, I dream about stamping!)
I
colored and cut out the images from Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies and Critters in the 'Burbs stamp sets. Then I took my craft knife and made an
incision in the basket. I cut down my bunny so he could fit in, and then
I was able to tuck him right in the basket! I added some foam adhesive
behind his head, and it really looks like he is riding in the balloon!
One
thing I just love about the Blue Skies Lawn Cuts dies is that the cloud
works with the stamps or without! I really liked the idea of some
negative space on my night sky, so I used the dies to cut out some
clouds in my navy panel.
To curve my Lucky Stars sentiment, I used my balloon to help guide me as I curved it on
the block. That made it really easy to make sure it would hug the
balloon perfectly!
I
used some of the stars from Blue Skies to decorate my panel. My
finishing touch was some Stickles. Every time I used Stickles, I get it
all over the place, so I decided to squirt some on a piece of scratch
paper and use a paintbrush to line the inside and outside of my clouds.
It worked perfectly!
Thank you so much to Simon for having me! Happy Summer!
